The Nuggets send Mike Miller ($5,400,000), and Sam Young ($947,800) in exchange for nothing.

Works as the Wizards are far enough under the cap to absorb the salary.

Wizards accept. I probably would've gotten more incentive had I've traded for Miller yesterday. However, Sam Young is no joke and I'm very happy to add these two wings to our rotation. I end up giving up $7M in cap space in order to use my MLE and my BAE so not a whole lot lost there. Miller will hopefully return to form after fully recovering from his thumb injury. He's had prior success in Washington and I like his versatility as a playmaker/rebounder from the 2/3 spot.

My bench is now Haywood/Gibson/Young/Miller/House which I would say is pretty solid. Some bigs that'll do the dirty work and defend hard, a young athletic wing with a lot of hustle, a versatile guard that can score/playmake/rebound and a shooter behind Rose.

Wizards accept. I never thought I'd be the guy to move a 1st overall pick but this deal suits my needs perfectly. Jefferson's only 26 years old and is producing at an extremely high rate, Matthews is a perfect fit at the 2 moving forward and Batum is a nice addition with his length/athleticism/shooting ability. This means my cap space is gone and I have to waive the bird rights to Jason Richardson, but a team with Haywood/Jefferson/Lee/Gibson/Batum/Matthews/Rose is definitely heading in the direction I planned originally.
