OT - High-rise restaurants in Chicago
I got tired of watching the refs fix the Heat and Celtics game so I just shut it off. Anyways, mother's day is coming up and I'm thinking about taking my mom to a restaurant for dinner that has a good view of Chicago. I've been in the city for 2 years but haven't really tried too many different restaurants. Anyone know of good restaurants that have a great view of the city at night? The only one I know of is the Signature Room on the 95th floor of the Hancock. I was thinking doing a rooftop restaurant, but I figured it might still be a little bit chilly.

Signature Room has better food - but Mid America Club has just as good if not better views than the 95th. i think it's the 80th floor in the Standard Oil (AON) tower. killer buffet lunch for like $22.

also don't forget the rooftop restaurants in Greektown like Pegasus. can you beat flamining saganaki with a killer west side view of the loop? i think not. opah!

Everest is one of the best restaurants in Chicago with one of the best views in Chicago. The Metropolitan Club in the Willis Tower is another top-rank choice, but I'm not sure if you need to be a member.

Fred's on top of Barney's over on State and Oak overlooks the Magnificent Mile going south. It's about 25-40 a plate.
This is how the inside looks:
