When Bosh was in TOR he was 24/11, as a 2nd option his numbers drop but he should fit in nicely beside D12. The range on his jimmy and pick and pop game with Nash will put other teams bigs in trouble and open up the paint for Dwight.

PHX accepts. We like JJ's scoring ablitlity, and age. VC was too old for our lineup, so we don't mind losing him. AK and Kmart provide some nice starting forwards for us.

Toronto and Phoenix have a trade:

Toronto trades: Al Jefferson($14,000,000) + Mike Miller($5,400,000) = $19,400,000

Phoenix trades: Joe Johnson($18,038,573) + Dampier($854,389)

Raptors accept. This balances us out a little more. Gives us a top 5-6 shooting guard going forward.

Portland and New Orleans have a trade to announce.

Portland Trades

Anderson Varejao - $7,950,000
Jonas Jerekbo - $3,000,000
Jared Dudley -$4,250,000
Outgoing = $15,200,000 (*1.25+100k = $19.1m)

New Orleans Trades

Luol Deng - $12,325,000
Quincy Pondexter - $1,153,800
Nikola Pekovic - $4,595,000
Outgoing = $18,073,800 - the deal works!

Why for Portland? I've been looking to add 3rd option for a while now, and in Deng I have found just that. 3rd option on the current championship favourites, 18ppg and all-NBA-defence... I sacrifice a lot, my 10/10 Center, my favourite defensive role player in Dudley, and Jerebko whom I believe will have a great career - but I think this is worth it to ensure my team is competitive as it can be.

PHX accepts. We really like Al Jefferson's skills on offense, and probably never should've traded him in the first place. JJ was a bit old for my team, while Al is the perfect age. Miller is a great outside shooter.

Toronto Trades

Chuck Hayes - $7,000,000
Johan Petro - $3,250,000
Jodie Meeks - $884,293
Total Outgoing = $11,134,293

Why for Portland? I probably overpay here in terms of gm-a-team 'perception', but I love the team I end up with afterwards. Hayes is an underrated defender, his 8 pts 8 rebounds in 28 minutes being low profile, but when he does this: you can't help but be impressed. Arguably the best post defender in the league :)

Toronto, New Jersey, Milwaukee and Sacramento have a trade:

Sacramento trades: Manu Ginobili($12,981,038) + Beno Udrih($6,925,400) = $19,906,438

IncomingDeandre Jordan($9,240,924) + Arron Afflalo($7,000,000) = $16,240,924

Toronto trades:Deandre Jordan($4,620,462)(BYC) + Arron Afflalo($3,500,000)(BYC) + Carl Landry($7,000,000) + Nikola Pekovic($4,503,600)= $19,624,062 x 1.25 =$24,530,077

Incoming Chris Bosh($16,022,500) + Beno Udrih($6,925,400) = $22,947,900

New Jersey trades: Chris Bosh($16,022,500) x 1.25 = $20,028,125

receives: Manu Ginobili($12,981,038) + Carl Landry($7,000,000) = $19,981,038

Milwaukee trades: future considerations

receives:Nikola Pekovic($4,503,600) Milwaukee is under the cap

Toronto accepts. This deal took a long time, but we are pretty happy with it. Losing Jordan/Afflalo hurts me a lot, they were 2 of my favorite players, but we think getting back Bosh is a nice compliment to our starting 5. We didn't want Udrih at all cuz we are set at backup point guard but we had to take him to get this done.

Confirmed. We needed a wing that could take over games, and Ginobli fits the bill. A top 3 SG, and solid closer we feel that Ginobli brings an element that we didn't have before. Landry has one big weakness, his rebounding and that is a non-issue beside Dwight. His range and offensive ability as well as his toughness fit nicely beside d12.

MIL accepts. We like Pek as a big body down low, and C was one of our weakest positions.

ACCEPTED. It was quite clear it was time for the Kings to rebuild..missing out of FA pretty much sealed that. Nonetheless, we are happy and interestingly enough..excited about the new look of our team. With the reunion of Affalo and welcoming of Jordan, we add two young starters who will have an immediate impact on the win/loss column. You can't argue with that. We are very happy to have them.

Fairly minor deal to announce here, between Portland and Charlotte.

Portland Trades

Linus Kleiza - $4,800,000
Johan Petro - $3,250,000
Total Outgoing = $8,050,000

Charlotte Trades

Travis Outlaw - $7,000,000

Why for Portland? Kleiza and Petro weren't getting any minutes, and although I swallow a larger contract and more money in year 3, I feel Outlaw was a good player in Portland under McMillan, and should provide solid minutes as a backup 3/4 for my team.
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

The Kings waive Steve Novak.

The Kings and Sixers agree on a deal:

The Kings send: 2014 1st rd pick / 2012 2nd rd pick
The Sixers send: Elliot Williams

The Kings are enamored by the size, strength and athleticism of Elliot Williams. We believe his is a poor mans Tyreke Evans--which isn't a bad thing. He will have plenty of time to prove he belongs in the league with the Kings. We are very happy.

Toronto and Dallas have agreed to a trade that should alter both teams for the better and go a long way toward making them both more competitive.
Dallas Trades: Zaza Pachulia $4,750,000, Matt Bonner $3,365,000 = $8,105,000
Toronto Trades: Beno Udrih $6,925,400 x 1.25 = $8,650,000

Dallas accepts. We shift some of our depth in the post for a point guard that is extremely efficient and one of the most underrated players in the NBA. 14p 3r 5a on 50% shooting and 36% from 3 is nothing to scoff at, and 15p 4r 5a on the same percentages as a starter puts Beno in the top half of point guards in the NBA statistically. Additionally this trade saves us a little money this year and next, and with two lottery picks and one mid first next year, along with an anticipated $18 or so million in cap space after giving Brook a max contract and calculating cap holds, our team should be set up really well for the future. In fact, I would say we are a leading candidate for nabbing one of Paul/Williams.

Raptors accept. We had to move beno or Luke to get some bigman depth. Paying beno that much to be a 3rd stringer just wasn't worth it. Bonner provides some nice spacing and is a fan favorite here in Toronto. pachulia is solid and has some experience and toughness.

I accept. I didn't really need Outlaw and I like Kleiza. I don't know where I am going to put him but I'll find somewhere. Just more about breaking up the contract without giving up a pick than anything.

NEW ORLEANS ACCEPTS

Reasons fro trade...Nikola Mirotic is a great young talent prospect at PF but has major concerns due to the recent contract signed with Real Madrid this year which will probably not see nikola in the nba very soon. The Hornets having extra 1sts in 2012 and 2013 think it was worth the gamble to send two 2nds and add a great prospect to stash in europe for a few years plus being an U20 spanish NT player with Rubio here already increases the chances of a move to the NBA.

PHX accepts. Mirotic has no room in our rotation, and we also don't have time for him to come back from over seas. At least this gives us 2 more picks, and if even one of them turns out to be a decent role player, I think this is definitely worth it.

Toronto and Phoenix have a trade:

Phoenix trades:Chris Anderson($4,869,100) + AJ Price($884,293) = $5,753,393

Toronto trades:Zaza Pachulia($4,750,000) + Sonny Weems($854,389) = $5,604,389

Raptors accept, we wanted to get more of a shotblocker at center, Bird is one of the better energy/shotblocking centers in the league. He may be a bit old, but we still feel he can contribute for the remainder of his contract. Price provides us with a solid 3rd PG.
