Re: LA- ORL trade
What's going on InfamousOAK90? I live in Los Angeles and I happen to be best friends with Mitch Kupchak, GM and Father to the son of the GM of the Los Angeles Lakers. And I was informed by his father/son that this post is completely pointless and a whole lot of BS.. I have no idea why people feel the need to make posts like this but is is what it is.. Congrats on having nothing better to do than post a paragraph of nonsense.

you dont have to believe me honestly. But I know what I heard and I wouldn't spew bull crap to you like that. I would expect if you did know Mitch Kupchak for him not to spill the beans about the whole thing since there is 7 weeks left til the draft and it'd be pretty bad if it were to get out. I doubt you were informed of any of LA's moves before they happened so I don't see how you can insult me for an honest thing I've heard.

Except, you just posted another BS trade you "know about" on the ORL board with Hedo headed to Philly. That would be the craziest thing ever, 1 player to 2 different teams.

Though I have to give you credit. Your fake trades are better than 99% of the trades on the Trade/Transaction board except the Lakers giving 3 Borderline All Star bigs away.

hahaha In all honesty the ORL trades with GS and Philly are true. However, it was just in some good fun to mess with the team trying to get our superstar. I just wasn't prepared for the replyer to be good friends with Mitch Kupchak lol. I thought I would just spice my excitement of hearing Monta and Iggy coming to Orlando with a little joke to you guys. No harm done

Re: Official Transaction Ideas thread
I wouldn't doubt that Dwight has already told Magic brass he isn't re-signing, but Dwight is smart and is going to want to look like the good guy in all of this as he cares about his Orlando legacy ... this is why he dropped the "Orlando media want me gone like Shaq" quotes, etc.
If Dwight goes to LA, especially in a deal like I mentioned before (D12, Jameer, Bass, Q-Tip and Duhon for Bynum, Pau, Blake, Ebanks, Caracter, picks and cash) that nets the Magic two all-star level players, two young guns, a quality PG, picks and cash he will ALWAYS be able to say, "Listen man, I may have left but I didn't pull a Shaq or Lebron, I love Orlando and made sure they got great players in return and I wish them all the best and will be rooting for them to win the East every year." .... that is realistic ... him waiting until after another early playoff exit next year and just signing with the Nets or Knicks is not ... Dwight's not stupid.

Just out of curiosity, what about CP3 instead of Dwight if we miss out on the big fella. I just can't imagine the amount of easy shots/points that Paul would create for this team, and he would no doubt solidify our perimeter defense. A defensive perimeter lineup of CP3, Bryant and Artest would be hard to get through, and would be even better if we had a healthy Drew, in addition.

Trade 2013 1st Round Pick for Jonny Flynn. Flynn will allow us to run a little bit more and get younger and more athletic at PG. Then trade Steve Blake and Luke Walton to the Bucks for Corey Maggete or John Salmons. Getting one of them give us a consistent scorer on the wing. It also allows Kobe to play a few less minutes per game in the regular season keeping him fresh for the playoffs. Then draft Jeremy Tyler and Norris Cole with our first 2 2nd Round Picks to round out the roster.
Flynn/Fisher/Cole
Bryant/Salmons or Maggette
Artest/Barnes/Ebanks
Gasol/Odom/Caracter
Bynum/Tyler

Re: Official Transaction Ideas thread
To get CP3 before the draft I think the trade would look something like this:
Bynum, Odom, Blake and Brown for CP3, Okafor and either a re-signed West or Landry ... I'd do that trade but I'd rather do the Dwight trade.

Re: Official Transaction Ideas thread
One of the things to be remembered about Adelman is that Bynum is not a good fit in the offense if Pau is also on the floor. Bynum's mid-range is only a decent shot and he's more of a back to basket guy with decent passing skills. I would seriously consider a deal for Horford+extras in order to get a tougher guy to pair with Pau Gasol that would make the offense fluid once again.
Perhaps something like:
PG- Hinrich, Flynn
SG- Bryant, Salmons
SF- Artest, Barnes
PF- Gasol, Odom
C- Horford, Speights
That rotation could be very solid and would finally give the team defense and offense of a high caliber. You can call Gasol the PF or Horford the PF it does not matter but you know for a fact that the team will finally be cohesive on offense, the same way it was during the 2008-2009 run when the Lakers were at their absolute best. The difference with this lineup is that instead of a limping Bynum and a tired Odom now you have fresh players off the bench, you're more capable against the P and R and you can really take advantage of other team's big men by attacking them face-up and using Bryant-Artest to wear out their guards. On offense the system is ideal and I think it can be defensively as well unless you face Dwight Howard. Even if you do however I wouldn't fret. The way Adelman's offense runs this team can face-up and give Howard so much foul trouble and completely negate his shot-blocking ability by pulling him out of the post entirely. How do you think Kobe would like to face off against say a Jason Richardson in the post with not Dwight to help AT ALL.

Bargs and Calderon for Bynum?
Bargs, Caldy, Kleiza and Barbosa for Bynum, Caracter, Walton, all 2011 and 2012 picks. What say you?
