Now this is the guy we need. A 7 footer out there doing things no other 7 footers can do except Bargnani. It could be a deadly combo.

Andrea's man to man defense is probably top in the league! when have you ever seen him get dunked on? Never! Davis and Amir do. All that matters is man to man defense, because we all know the game isn't dynamic enough for switches or things to break down. It's all straight up guard your own person.

Who cares about defense?
All the man to man defense does is take away potential three point shots.

Andrea needs to stop focusing on stuff that has no really effect on the stat sheet.

When was the last time you flipped over a basketball card as saw "Defense" as a stat?

That's true. Guys like Dwight and Noah would be so tired from chasing around Bargs and Donatas, lol. I almost feel sorry for them.
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

Put yourself in the shoes of the other teams coach,

You only have five guys on the floor at once to throw on Bargnani at a time to limit him to 22PPG,
How do you deal with two of them?

I figure every defender on Bargnani reduced his 3PTA by 10 a game, you toss two defenders onto Motiejunas and Bargnani makes 18 of those threes, plus his existing production we are talking 76PPG.

If they need to swing a third man onto a hot Motiejunas we may see the first 100PPG player in NBA history.

Its why they need to slim down, lean out, and hit the bikes all summer.

Stamina and Endurance.

Dwight weighs 265.
This ain't sumo here guy, if you want to keep up with the productive bigs you need to get down to 220,

In terms of defense, that isn't important anyways. The point of the game is to score more than the other team, and with another 3 point shooter we'll be sure to win more games.

Is Kapono's contract expiring in July? He'd be a nice pickup for this squad.

For sure. I don't even know why BC traded him in the first place. I mean, Reggie can't even shoot 3s, what a waste of a 6-8 body.

I'm open to trading DeRozan or Davis for Washington's pick. Jan Vesley would be an awesome fit here.

Bargnani
Motie
Vesley
Kleiza
Calderon

Calderon needs to work on his three though, it has fallen off for the past 2 years.

When we draft Donatas,
it should be required that the coaches and the bench stitch their hands into this form:

I am perfectly willing to write the next season off in exchange for Bryan Colangelo drafting Motiejunas. As far as i'm concerned 12/13 would be the second year of our rebuild. I pledge to judge Bryan accordingly and to emphatically encourage others to do the same.

You deal with them at the offensive end by abusing them possession after possession.

Not when you make them at a clip of 37% Higher percentage shots always win out in the long run

37% on 3s is 55.5% on 2s.

Having 2 7 Footers draining 3's all game is a dream come true. If Bayless, Derozan and J.Johnson doesent want to do the dirty work, get in the paint, box out, and fight for rebounds, then they can simply be moved for players who would. We need to find Motiejunas and Bargnani some actual team players who are willing to help.
