Lots of reports coming out of Minnesota that T-Wolves really want to move that No. 2 pick.

Wonder if we'll see their price come down soon?

I hope Bryan is actively pursuing that pick.

Kanter vertical video is more impressive than I was anticipating.

New Chad Ford Mock (3.0):

(1) Irving
(2) Williams
(3) Knight
(4) Kanter
(5) VESELY

Analysis: I'm still trying to get the pulse of what's happening in Toronto. Now that Bryan Colangelo has his extension, he can afford to take more risks. The question is … who does he gamble on? Last week we had Valanciunas here. He's still in the mix, but I've been told that Vesely is even higher on his list.

A terrific athlete, Vesely is ready to play right now and adds great size to Toronto's front line. Kemba Walker is also a legit option here and if for some reason Brandon Knight falls, he won't slip past the Raptors.

The BPA Bandwagon Thread

Post#229 » by Relentless88 » Tue May 24, 2011 5:35 pm

I'm not on the Kanter bandwagon. I'm also not on the Knight or Walker bandwagons. Instead...I'm on the draft BPA bandwagon.

A year ago we knew Bosh was pretty much gone. Most of this board wanted to move Bargnani to PF. There was actually a considerable amount of people that wanted Avery Bradley, Daniel Orton, Xavier Henry, etc (I was one of them). People didn't want to draft another PF.

BC went out and drafted Davis because he was BPA. Everyone was surprised because for one we didn't think he'd last until 13, but mostly because he was a PF. Our team lost 60 games. We need talent, and looking back we're all glad that we got Davis, and not Bradley, Henry, etc (neither look like anything special).

This team is so bad that we are not at a point to draft for need.

So this draft...I say draft BPA...whoever that is. Could be Kanter, could be Knight...could even be Tristan Thompson. We'll know in the coming weeks.

Who's with me? Also can someone make me a sig, thanks.

Burks should be considered with our pick. I'd take him easily over Valanciunas/Vesley

Last night I had a dream where Kyrie slips to 5h and we pick him.. I know it's very unlikely, actually impossible but it's still was a nice dream.

I see the draft slightly different.

1. Irving
2. Kanter Minny doesn't need Williams they do need a C this is if they keep draft spot
3. Knight
4. Williams see Cleveland taking him think he is over hyped he is SF/PF ??????
5. ????????????????????? me I would go with Jonas
Canadian in China

On the main ESPN draft page, I see that Tristan is at #9, Does he have Cory Joseph ranked anywhere?

Haven't seen posts on Marshon Brooks, so what do you guys think about him.

6'5" guard with ball handling abilities, and 7 foot wingspan. He was a scorer at Providence and had a career high 52 points against notre dame.

I know i might be way over my head, but after seeing him play several games during the season, and after watching the 52 point game, i think he might be a very good role player, possible starter in the nba.

What do you guys think?? Do you think hes worth buying a mid first pick to draft him?
BTW, heres the link for his 52 point preformance. :)

My friend follows and covers Duke basketball semi-professionally and wrote an in-depth scouting report on Kyrie Irving, from top to bottom.

Thought there may be some people here interested in this:

Kyrie does an excellent job in changing speeds to trick his opponent. At times he will slow the pace down almost to a crawl and lull his defender to sleep before showing his quick first step and blowing past the defender and attacking the hoop. His ability to create his own shot using his quickness and advanced handle is a key reason scouts are drooling over this prospect. Even against older defenders this year Kyrie consistently proved he was able to blow past them and attack the rim and finish.

It's also my blog page but this scouting report is all from my Duke-covering friend, and may be the only thing ever worth reading on my blog page! :-?
Let's follow eachother on Twitter, it's easier. @RaptorsRhetoric

My opinion is a Tracy McGrady ceiling and a Gerald Green floor. However, I think he'll be a Nick Young type in the NBA.

I can't believe we haven't seen the athletic testing results yet. Even the Kanter video is something to watch but doesn't tell us the actual measured results!!

Feed us data!!
