I still like my idea of Jose Calderon + Linas K.+ 5th pick for Jennings + Maggette + 10th pick. I think this works fairly well for both teams.

The most logical thing for the Raps to do right now is target a trade with the t wolves and bucks in my opinion as well. The t'wolves like williams at #2 therefore making beasley redundant. The bucks need scoring, therefore beasley is perfect for them.
Raps Receive
B Jennings, N Perkovic, M Webster
T Wolves Receive
#10 J Salmons and J Calderon
Bucks Receive

SF James Johnson Jan Vasely #5 Linas Kleiza

Like the trade a lot but not sure if the salaries can match...

many of them liked the trade! it was minnesota that didn't really (they HATE our calderon proposals)

* Maybe the 3rd team would send some sort of incentive to MIN, the player could be anyone really. Maybe Charlie Bell from GSW and they swap #11 for #18? Or a future pick in 2012 from a team.
Knight / Bayless
Derozan / Webster
Johnson / Klezia / Hayward
Davis / Amir
Bargnani / Pekovic / Alabi
I think Kahn would take Calderon, but most of the Minny board disagrees with that. Pekovic and Hayward are definitely on the block though. And although they love Rubio, they also love Ridnour as a backup.
I also think they are fed up with Flynn and would ditch him pretty fast (based on the Minny boad). I think he had a 7.0 PER this year.

Who do they take at 5 though? I like the idea a lot but don't know who they'd pick and if that's worth giving up Jennings
Jennings / Bayless
Derozan / Barbosa
Johnson / Maggette
Davis / Amir
Bargnani / Biyombo
Love that. But why would MIL do it I just don't see the prospect at 5 that would fit their team better than 10

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

NH what about
To TOR: Jennings + Maggette + #10
To UTA: Klezia + Dooling + #5
To MIL: Calderon + Millsap + #12
My only concern is moving up 7 spaces enough to give up Millsap?
Harris / Knight / Dooling
Hayward / Bell
Miles / Klezia / Evans
Favors / Okur
Jefferson / Kanter

^ I don't think there's any way Biyombo lasts to #10. If he did, I would love this deal... but again, I think there's no way that happens, and for the guys that likely will be around at #10, I'd pass.

I think if Jazz gets Kanter they can make Millsap expendable. I just want to do this trade cause it gets rid of Jose and brings back Jennings, who I see as the next coming of Iverson. I am very excited for a Derozan and Jennings back court. Just sign a decent C and look forward to next season!

If Utah ends up with Knight and Kanter, I don't think they'd care if they lose Millsap. Knight/Hayward/Favors/Kanter is a good young core, their only need would be at SF then, and they have Jefferson. Perhaps they could try to swing him for Iggy? Wow that would be a really quick and thorough rebuild only months after losing DWill.

Re: 2011-12 Toronto Raptors Trade Ideas Thread Pt II
If we can flip Bargnani for Beasley straight up on draft night so they could go ahead and draft D-Will that would be great. That's a great trade imo because the T-Wolves would get more scoring and skill while Kevin Love does his usual thing and rakes up boards in the paint. That's one team where Bargs wouldn't have to worry about rebounding. In exchange we get more athleticism and toughness inside without losing out on scoring by getting Beasley. We draft Knight/Walker on Draft night and all of a sudden we have this :
PG- Knight/Walker
SG- DeRozan
SF -Beasley (if we want to play him @ the 3 to give Davis and Amir starting opportunities)
PF- Davis
C- Johnson
All of a sudden you have a more young and athletic core to build with that can stay together for the next few years and build chemistry. Sounds great doesn't it?

According to Draftexpress Biyombo is at 10 so it is a possibility

That's what I was getting it from and figured players like Burks behind him on draftexpress he could be there

Re: 2011-12 Toronto Raptors Trade Ideas Thread Pt II
I'd be ok with moving Bargs for Beasley (only if we're drafting a C though), because he's less of a liability at SF than Bargs is at C. I guess it would come down to the other contracts they send with Beasley to make salaries match. Of course, I'm not even sure if the Wolves would want Bargs--while he certainly gives them a go-to guy that can create his own offense, he creates other problems for them defensively. Beasley becomes a young guy that we can evaluate for a year and either let expire, or re-sign on a reasonable deal. At 22, he can replace the scoring Bargs gave us, while allowing us to give those C minutes to someone that can rebound/defend (I'd be fine with any of Biyombo/Valanciunas/Kanter).
(#5-Biyombo/Kanter/Val)/(Darko? Pekovic?)/Alabi
Ed/Amir
Beasley/J.Johnson
DeMar/Barbosa
Bayless/Jose
Good young team that could very well end up in the lottery again, and have a great chance to pick up a good young prospect at SF/PG like Michael Gilchrist/Quincy Miller/Barnes/P.Jones/Marquis Teague/Kabongo/Wroten.

id do Bargnani + Klezia for Beasley + Pekovic + Hayward
* trade saves 3 million increasing our cap space to about 10 million. So who would we go after?
however i dont think id draft a C, none are appeasing to me. Id draft Knight (hopefully)/Walker (2nd choice), trade Calderon for scraps (or maybe a S&T Greg Oden?) and sign a C.

Derozan / Barbosa
Beasley / Johnson / Hayward

Bargnani, Barbosa, Calderon for Gay and spare parts? That's not a bad haul for us.
Indiana gets a lot back in exchange for Paul George basically, wow.
Memphis makes out well, getting a young SF back to groom, although they gave up quite a bit in Gay, Mayo, and Henry...that's a ton to give up, and they aren't really saving a whole lot for the next year.
