Off topic, how does Portland Trailblazers = PDX? Been wondering this for a long time. Always confuses me with Phoenix.

Your Sig got me in some hot water at work here with the ladies. Are you 11 years old?

If you'd do that in a heartbeat, you need a pacemaker.
First of all, he's a sign and trade and that can't be done until July, assuming there is no lockout. To come to Toronto in such a sign and trade, you would have to be high bidder, and guarantee him a long-term contract. Third, he's supposedly not even going to be ready to play in October, and is 50/50 for January.
To all others in this thread - Batum won't be traded to anyone unless Portland gets a star back. The 5th pick or a collection of lesser assets won't cut it. Just forget it.
PDX is the airport code for Portland.

Without a Calderon for Miller deal in there I don't touch anything from them outside LMA for #5 which obviously isn't going to happen.

lol.....Some posters don't want Flynn, but they'll gladly take the Human Crutch Greg Oden. Our fan base's fascination with big men is worse than Vince McMahon's.

I wouldn't sacrifice our pick for getting rid of Calderon, only because there will most definitely be a new amnesty clause in the upcoming CBA. We could probably shed one or two contracts no question asked, since some teams are way above the salary tax.
Anyways, If we had a lower pick, say #10 to #14, I'd trade it for Batum and their pick. But that's not the case and even though this is a weak lottery, whoever we get will definitely be better then Batum. I mean if we stick with the mock drafts. (No Ves or Val)
