You guys can rag about LeBron's inability to score more than 2 points in the 4th Quarter tonight, though he did a hell of a job running the offense for the Heat dishing out 4 assists in that quarter alone. And it was him that was key when the Heat had their mini run going 6-0 for around two minutes. His teammate should have knocked down that one free-throw to make it a 4-point lead and the Heat would've easily finished it off.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

Never said it was. Just that he played a good floor game that quarter. He exposed the Mavericks' interior defense when they overhelped on the pick-and-roll.

being unable to score when the mavs put a 40 year old point guard on him = the GOAT just trying to get his teammates involved, duh. if theyd made their buckets, then lebron wouldve made his buckets, then the heat would have easily won. duh.

btw i just remembered tonight that i have a mavs jersey, and a warmup shirt. thank you steve nash era.

And no one's ragging on his ability to create or pass. Everyone's ragging on his inability to take over in the fourth and score at will despite having a 6'4 point guard who probably weighs 100 lbs less on him.

LeBron James - greatest facilitator of all time.

Dude's amazing and has so much talent, but he's starting to remind me of that player you always find in pick up games at the gym who passes up everything because they're "trying to get teammates involved".

LeBron really needs to develop a diversified offensive game (specifically, a post game). It's sad to think all that physical talent is going to waste with such a basic offensive game.

Well played!

He does have the ability to "score" efficiently, and if hard times can rebound well.

Yeah Jerry West saw this years ago. Lebron's talented but his actual skill level is not up there yet. I just wonder how he'll adapt when he loses that athleticism.

Pretty much, he's gotten away with being great on his athleticism alone and hasn't added to his game because of those gifts. When that athleticism goes away as he gets older he won't be as effective unless he adds more to his game.

remember when marion left a loaded phoenix team, and went to a crappy miami team seemingly at his wish. weird now that not only might he win before nash, amare, et al. but he'd do it against miami. even if he lost to miami itd be pretty coincidental
