While Biyombo and Monteijunas received a lot of buzz leading up to their individual workouts, the player receiving the most buzz who is actually fully participating in the camp is Lucas “Bebe” Nogueira. But, the buzz isn't all warmth and fuzz, with one GM saying, “[he's] So raw… So raw… and he's out there on the court laughing with all the guys – it's like, ‘get serious,' ” and others reaffirming that notion that he did not help himself at all with his first day showing.
Indeed Noguiera looked very raw and showed some questionable body language throughout the day.
Early on he looked very uncomfortable when forced to put the ball on the floor or pass and he failed to stand out going up against fellow lanky big man and camp teammate (Team 1) Bengaly Fofana.
As the day went on, in two five-on-five games, Bebe showed a bit better. First he registered 5 points, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks when going up against Sarra Camara and Team 4. Then, he exhibited a bit more offense going for 11 points and 5 rebounds against the Serbia U19 squad later in the day. His decision making left something to be desired, as did the lack of awareness and experience he showed on both ends of the floor.
All-in-all, without reading too much into day one, Nogueira probably showed talent evaluators a lot of what they expected to see considering his lack of polish, confirming his status as a long-term project.

Lucas Noguera is the best prospect playing in the event (Motiejunas and Biyombo are only here for workouts). But that really isn't saying much. The level of talent in the camp is pretty under whelming. Noguera was impressive in San Antonio a year ago at the Global Games but seems to have regressed playing in Spain for his 2nd division team. He struggled today showing an inability to catch the ball and go up strong. He did have some nice blocks and shows solid length. But his performance in day one left a lot to be desired. He seems to be a little delusional about himself. At one point he layed in an "and-1" in what should have been a dunk and let out a yell only to have most of the scouts on hand roll their eyes and give looks of disgust. His length and agility are at an elite level for a 7 footer, but it's painful to watch a kid underachieve so heavily. Bigmen take the longest to develop and guys like Roy Hilbbert made incredible transformations between the ages of 19 and 22, but the difference here is Lucas' body doesn't really seem to have any limitations aside from strength. His problems all seem to be mental as he acts more like a 15 year old than a 19 year old auditioning for a multi-million dollar contract. He's got a hefty buyout so he may pull out of this draft in the next few days. Based on his performance in day one and reactions from scouts, he's not a first round pick at this point.

I know they are both PG but I dont see Kemba as PG material. He is a SG in a PG body. I also think Kemba is strong enough to handle SG against bigger players.
ofcouse it all can only happen if Demar can handle the SF spot.
PG- Knight
SG- Kemba
SF- DeRozan

I really like the idea of acquiring Bertans with a late pick. I think he can at the very least be a solid shooter off the bench at SF, and given that he's just 18 he has the potential to become a lot more.

I still hope we trade down or out. This draft is hot garbage after pick #2. The hype machines are trying to change our minds but they're clutching at straws.
