If you look at advanced stats, Knight should barely even be a first round pick.

I think if Biyombo simply grows a fro, people would be happy with the pick.

So if we was 6'10" it would be ok?

Not really, people are pretty anti putting Davis at C. 6'9 is just really undersized.

I don't know I like upside and all, but I also want a sure thing. What I am hearing about Val is both... If we get Knight I hope BC could get another pick for one of these two guys (BB/Val)

If there's any year to take a Valunciunas, this is it - we don't need him right away since we're in the midst of a rebuild, it's a terrible draft & there could very well be a lockout next year. It would suck to wait a year for him to come over though.

My sentiments exactly

Bargs, Ed, Amir (possibly Reggie) all at PF - we do not need another PF.

Walker is still the BPA, but BC's a sissy boy who probably doesn't like Walker's character :-?

If Knight, Val are both gone I would like either Walker or Bismack.

C'mon Ozzy, for this Doug is right, we don't know what the top 4 picks are doing. Knight may or may not be there. Your cold Oz, cold as ice

There's nothing wrong with his character. Teams just don't think he'll be a great player. Which is why he'll be likely the player to drop.

that, and Biyombo will almost certainly play C for us. I think BC has been somewhat intrigued by him right since his postseason presser, when he brought up how Ibaka would play the 5 on our team, because he's that rebounding, shotblocking presence near the rim that we need.

I am a little bit in love with Biyombo after this interview though.

http://espn.go.com/espn/grantland/story/_/id/6679686/your-deal
Grantland: Do you have a girlfriend?

Biyombo: Yeah, for sure! I met her at a house party, hanging out with some friends. She lives in Madrid. But now is the NBA draft, and I don't know what's going to happen. I came back from [the Hoops Summit in] Portland so excited, but also sad because I know that moving to the U.S. means maybe leaving my girlfriend. We've been together 6 or 7 months. We say "I love you" to each other. And I invited her to move to America with me. But she's young — she's 18, same as me — and she might want to stay in Spain with her family. If she doesn't want to move, I told her I understand, that's no problem, but the United States is like another world, and being there for the first time is gonna be difficult. I need someone next to me. If she's not gonna come, I told her I'm gonna have to catch up with someone over there. It was hard to tell her that, but I'm not gonna lie to her and say, "I love you," and keep things going and then she finds out I'm doing something wrong. I like to talk to people face-to-face and be honest. Sometimes that means people want to punch me out, but at least, hey, they know the truth. I don't want people to say, "Oh, this guy lied to me." I want them to say, "I have respect for him." So I talk straight to people. That's just the way I am.

I think most people here don't want Val because the want a new prospect to watch next season. Well if there is no season or a truncated season it won't matter. I say take Val if he is available, lots of teams are looking at him hard. Notice how no teams are looking to move up for Kanter or Williams.

If we draft Knight #5, would you trade a lotto protected top 3 2013 1st round pick to get a shot to draft Biyombo. Do you see us sucking as badly in 2012-2013?
