I wish the Knicks had drafted Jonas Valanciunas last night, everyone would be happy right now.

I'll admit, I didn't know about the 36 Foreign players that were drafted...

Yeah seriously. I've seen several people refer to Shumpert as an undersized 2. Epic fail.

But we kept the tradition going by drafting Josh :(

Gallo, Chandler, Lee, plus others. All solid forward picks in recent years...heck even Frye looked pretty darn good his first season and has now become an ok role player.

You mean you have never heard of Chu Chu Maduabum or Tanguy Ngombo? Get with it dude... :nonono: :D

I actually watch a lot of college basketball so I know quite a bit about the players...it's kinda obvious though when people don't.

Just watched a few clips of Larry Hughes when he was on the 6ers. Kinda scary how similar they are.

Hughes was a little smoother with the ball and better passer, but Shumpert is stronger and I will trust Donnie and say that he is a better spot up shooter.

Nice comparison.

this... plus i hate player comparisons in general... but my take:

best: lockdown perimeter defender who compliments amare and melo offensively by hitting open looks, getting out and finishing in transition, and being a willing ball mover

worst: a solid rotational backcourt defender with elite athleticism but minimal impact on the offensive end other then in transition
