I guess 75% of the girls that win prom queen drop out of college, marry a middle aged guy, lose some teeth and have 3 kids/divorced by the time they are 24. Atleast in the midwest.

Eh, I wanted to run, but I would have felt awkward being the only candidate who isn't running with her date. And my date couldn't run because he was from a different school.
