DETROIT AND DENVER ANNOUNCE TRADE:

The Detroit Pistons move Anderson Varejao & Jose Calderon to the Denver Nuggets in return for
JJ Barea.

While Detroit hates to move Varejao it was the cost to relieve the high priced log jam we had at Point Guard.

Denver accepts. Now we have a high-priced logjam at pg, but at least we have a capable center. Anderson Varejao gives us exactly what we need from the center position- hustle, rebounding, defense, and efficiency. Calderon and Baron Davis are both expirings, so our pg mess isn't much of a concern.

Toronto Raptors and Chicago Bulls have agreed to the following deal:

Chicago receives:
SF James Johnson ($2,812,006)
SG David Lighty ($816,483)
SG Austin Rivers (Draft Rights)

Toronto receives:
SF Thadeus Young ($9,450,000)
PF Nikola Mirotic ($1,112,800)
PF Terrance Jones (Draft Rights)

Raptors agree. This trade works because Toronto has the available cap space to absorb the difference

Chicago agrees. I get max cap space for a FA and solve my SG problem

Trade #127

Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers have a deal to announce.

Los Angeles Clippers Receive:
2013 1st Round Pick

Utah Jazz Receive:
SG Raja Bell ($3,480,000)
SF Al-Farouq Aminu ($2,947,800)
PF Tiago Splitter ($3,650,000)

Clippers accept. The Jazz will explain the pick in his accepting post.

We needed to cut salary BADLY. This allows us to sign a maximum contract FA. 'Nuff said.

Confirmed. We really like the two young players we land here and if taking back Raja Bell and a 1st (we think we'll be in the playoffs anyway) is the price to pay -- it's a total no brainer. Good dealing Clippers.

*one thing to note with the draft pick. It's top 12 protected otherwise Minny get's it. If the draft pick falls in the top 12 then LAC receives it. If it falls out of the top 12 and Minny receives it, then LAC receives Utah's 2015 2nd rounder.

The Orlando Magic and Portland Trailblazers have agreed upon a blockbuster sign and trade deal.

Magic send Kobe Bryant ($27,849,149), Tony Parker ($12,500,000), and David Lee ($12,744,000) in exchange for Chris Bosh ($17,545,000), Jeff Green ($7,500,000), and a resigned Deron Williams ($18,600,000) - 6 Years Max.

Magic Outgoing/Blazers Incoming: $27,849,149+ $12,500,000 = $40,349,149 + $12,744,000 = $53,093149

Blazers Outgoing/Magic Incoming: $18,600,000 + $17,545,000 = $36,145,000 + $7,500,000 = $43,645,000 X 1.25 = $54,556,250

Deal Works.

Magic accept. We get worse, but we get a little younger, and save a bit of cash.

Confirmed. We felt this was the best value we could get for Deron, Kobe is still a top 5 player at 34 with his conditioning and skillset. Parker is in his prime and gives me an elite PG, and Lee is a suitable Bosh replacement.

The Utah Jazz and the Chicago Bulls have agreed to a sign and trade

Chicago sends: Nicolas Batum (11,000,000) (not sure if Batum would be a BYC, but if so then he's worth 5.5mil)

Utah sends: Patrick Patterson (2,096,760) + Rodrigue Beaubois (2,227,333) = 4,324,093

Utah has tons of cap space to make this deal work.

Utah accepts, we really want to acquirer a starting SF that fits with our team long term, and we believe that we have that guy now in Batum.

*This was apart of a sign and trade

Phoenix and New York have agreed on a deal

Caron Butler ($8,000,000)

for

OJ Mayo ($10,000,000)

Phoenix has cap space to absorb the difference

We do this to add a young scorer to the team. Our defense is set with Biyombo/Oden/Gilchrist, and Mayo will provide a young guy who can create his own shot and still grow with our core.

Trade 131I think Phoenx - NY was 130

SUNS & PISTON MAKE MOVE

The Phoenix Suns sent PF/C Channing Frye to the Detroit Pistions in exchange for JJ Barea and rookie CJ Leslie.

Detroit needed to strengthen their front court having moved Anderson Varejao and Channing Frye Brings a complimentary skill set with the low post presence of Amir Johnson and Brandon Bass. His ability to operate from the high post will allow the Pistons Back court to penetrate and dish to the outstanding shooters.

Confirmed. We could use a backup PG, and Leslie is a solid 3/4 with a ton of potential.

The Memphis Grizzlies and New York Knicks have agreed to a trade -

Memphis will send:

Marc Gasol - 12,477,500
Aaron Afflalo - 6,510,000
Charlie Villanueva - 7,540,000
Total: 26,527,500

New York will send:

Rudy Gay: 15,032,144
Emeka Okafor: 12,492,500

Total: 27,524,644

Deal Works

This deal takes us in an entirely different direction. We create [what we think] is one of the best front court duos in the league. Nice dealing Memphis.

trade 133

Miami and NY Knicks have a S&T to announce

Miami sends
A.Morrow $4,000,000
Flynn $4,329,865

NYK trades
Billups $8,000,000

Miami accepts to get Mr Big Shot a shot to go out a champion. It really sucks losing a guy who i view as one of the best 3 point shooters in the game in Morrow and a talented prospect in Flynn. But it had to be done

The Brooklyn Nets and Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a huge sign and trade.

Tim Ducan has decided to finish his career off in Brooklyn and agreed to a 2 year 11 million per deal.

The trade is as follows:

Atlanta Outgoing / Brooklyn Incoming:

Tim Duncan - $11,000,000
Manu Ginobili - $14,107,491
Shane Battier - $6,240,000
Totals: $31,347,491

Nets Outgoing / Hawks Incoming:

Al Jefferson - $15,000,000
Wilson Chandler - $8,563,750
Kevin Seraphin - $1,797,600
Totals: $25,361,350 x 1.25 % +100,000 = $31,801687

Salaries Work.

We Accept.
This deal just fits our "Superdy Douper Win RIGHT Now Team". Nash / Gino / Peirce / Gasol / Duncan with Battier and MLE / BAE for a bench is pretty gosh darn steller. We love what we've become. This has to make our russian billionaire owner very happy. Good daling Luke!

Atlanta accepts. My run was unsuccessful so I'm freshening things up. Note: Al Jefferson earns $15m not $14, ness you can keep Bogdanovic if you want. Good dealing :)

BLOCKBUSTER MOVE BETWEEN PDX AND NOH:

PDX sends out:

Kobe Bryant (27,849,149)
David Lee ($12,744,000)

Total: $40,593,149

NOH sends out:
John Wall ($5,915,880)
Carlos Boozer ($15,000,000)
Landry Fields (S&T $6,000,000)
Sebastian Telfair ($2,750,000)

Total: $26,665,880

Works because NOH has the Cap Room.

We hate losing Wall, but after missing out on Dwight just for getting Boozer, we decided it was time to make a big move for a proven winner like Kobe who will attract some of the Tier2 FA who are left! GREAT DEALING PDX!

Removed BYC. Confirmed. Wall is a phenomenal talent, his is big, long and a pretty pure PG. He will replace Deron Williams quite well. Landry Fields is the best glue guy on our team, Boozer is welcome back as our low post presence and the huge TPE we get ($13,927,269) is nice.
