Houston accepts. We had no plans to re-sign Kaman so getting a player like JRich is a good return. Long wait, but nice deal Boston.

Denver trades the rights to Perry Jones and the contracts of Chase Budinger, Marshon Brooks, and Jose Calderon to Cleveland in exchange for the rights to James McAdoo and the contracts of Steve Blake and Dequan Cook.

We do this to upgrade our SF position with a potential superstar while keeping a shooter next to Turner. Dequan Cook will be a very good player coming off the bench behind Turner. This gives us 4 potential superstar players in Lawson, Turner, McAdoo, and Sullinger.

we do this deal to get young talent and expirings.. Perry Jones has all the physical tools, the off court demeanor to be a superstar. Humble, hardworking, and selfless. We believe a young core of Irving, Jones and Valanciunas. Irving is a great blend of Billups and Paul with his vision and savvy. Valanciunas is a quick, agile, mobie, high motor C in the mold of Dwight Howard, only less athletically gifted, but with more skill(compared to DHo when he entered). Perry Jones has been compared to Kevin Garnett. We are ecstatic to all have them.. We also get Brooks, who is a BEAST athletically (with a 7'1" wingspan) and Budinger, who has proven that he can start in this league :)

Orlando sends Richard Jefferson ($10,164,000), Jeff Green ($7,500,000) in exchange for Tony Allen ($3,300,000), Caron Butler ($8,000,000) and Jonny Flynn ($4,329,865).

New York Outgoing/Orlando Incoming: $15,629,865
Orlando Outgoing/New York Incoming: $17,664,000

Deal Works.

We think Flynn is better than Deron.

We accept.

Deal gives us both a starting and backup SF. Also creates more time for Anthony Morrow....

The Memphis Grizzlies and New York Knicks have agreed to a trade -

Memphis will send:

Marc Gasol - 12,477,500
Aaron Afflalo - 6,510,000
Charlie Villanueva - 7,540,000
Total: 26,527,500

New York will send:

Rudy Gay: 15,032,144
Emeka Okafor: 12,492,500

This deal takes us in an entirely different direction. We create [what we think] is one of the best front court duos in the league. Nice dealing Memphis.

we accept we like what gay and okafor bring

Golden State and Utah have a trade to announce:

Utah receives: Brook Lopez (15,500,000)

Golden State receives: Enes Kanter ( 3,818,500 ) + Al-Farouq Aminu (2,947,800) + Gordon Hayward (2,709,720) = 9,476,020

*Utah has the salary cap space to absorb the rest of the money here.

Utah says yes. Brook is a real great fit for the young team we are trying to build and really a perfect complement down low to Derrick Favors.

Kanter relistically will be the exact same player as Lopez with better rebounding. We didn't wanna pay Lopez max, and we got 2 young sf's in the proccess.

Detroit, Miami, and Denver have a trade to announce:

Detroit, Miami and Denver have a trade to announce:

Denver trades
PG Reggie Jackson -$1,068,200
for
Amir Johnson -$6,000,000

Detroit trades
Amir Johnson - $6,000,000 & 2013 #1 (DET)
for
Reggie Jackson & rights to Victor Claver

We have the space to absorb Amir's salary. He is a promising, young player, and will give us some flexibility in the frontcourt. Reggie Jackson was stuck on my bench. A good deal for both clubs. Good dealing.

CORRECTION: AMIR JOHNSON'S CONTRACT IS FOR $ 6M ; 6.5M ; AND $7M (TO)

Detroit confirms this deal. While losing Amir is a blow, a rotation of Brandon Bass, Channing Frye and Jason Thompson will be able to absorb most of the minutes and offers a flexible front line. We have coveted Reggie Jackson since he was drafted in 2011 and think he will slide into Jason Terry's spot in a few years and will be a star in the league. Finally, Detroit will bring Victor Claver to the NBA who we expect to have a much greater impact that Ricky.

TRADE # 140

OKC and NOH have come to an agreement

Kevin Garnett - $8,000,000

for

David Lee - $12,744,000
2014 1st

deal works due to OKC being plenty far enough under the cap

We wanted to get younger at the PF position even though it is costing us almost 5mil in money to play with for FA. We take back a future 1st as compensation for taking on that extra money.

OKC accepts

We love having a core of Kobe/KG!!!!! We also shed money for some more FA or trades. Our front court of KG/Camby will be the ultimate defense in the post!

NOH totally and absolutely accepts! Great dealing, Roc!

Trade 141:
The Bulls give:
Russel Westbrook $15,500,000
John Henson $1,462,400
Rodrigues Beaubois $2,227,332
Dejuan Blair $986,000
James Johnson $2,820,000
2013 1st
Total: $22,995,732
The Knicks give:
Amare Stoudemire $19,948,799
Charlie Villanueva $7,672,989
Raymond Felton $6,200,000
Total: $33,821,788
The Bulls have the cap space for this trade to work.
Trade 142:
The Bulls give:
Amare Stoudemire $19,948,799
Charlie Villanueva $7,672,989
Omer Asik $3,000,000
Total: $30,621,788
The Traiblazers give:
Ray Allen $10,000,000
Tony Parker $12,500,000
Carlos Boozer $15,000,000
Total: $37,500,000
$30.621,788 times 1.25=$38,277,235

While I hate giving up Westbrook, I greatly improve the depth of my point guard positions, acquire a legitimate shooting guard and veteran in Allen to mentor Rivers, and get back Boozer

We give up a lot but get a 2nd franchise player who is still youngish (28) and who had a monster season. We are now done trading. We hope.

blockbuster:

NOH sends:
Kobe ($27,849,149)
Quincy Miller ($2,024,900)
Eric Bledsoe ($1,707,720)
2013 1st rounder

Total: $31,581,769

CHI sends:
Tony Parker ($12,500,000)
Ray Allen ($10,000,000)
Austin Rivers($3,840,100)
Jan Vesley ($2,831,600)

Total: $29,171,700

$29,171,700*1.25>$31,581,769 so deal works!

NOH does this to strengthen PG position and depth, while retaining a great sg star level. and also gaining the awesome austin rivers. we're not sure but we upgraded at sf we think? we love all the guards gained in this trade!!

NOH is going full steam ahead for the O'Brien now!

This trade follows up the two others i did. I trade in a 37 year-old Allen, one of my two good PGs, and
two untested prospects for a legitimate future HOF star and a promising young pg.

Trade 145
TORONTO & DETROIT EXECUTE DEAL

The Toronto Raptors have acquired Jason Terry and Kyle Singler ($,6750,000 + $$25,400 = $7,175,400) in exchange for Jordan Hill, Nikola Mirotic & Damion James ($3,632,257+$1,112,800+$1,329,720=$6,074,777).

The 5 day hold on FA Jason Terry has passed so this deal now works under the rules.

Detroit needed to shore up their front line and with the signing of Reggie Jackson found Terry to be valuable player to move in this deal. They are very pleased to add James and the potential of Mirotic to their depth. Mirotic could be a special talent in the league & expects to stay with the Pistons after his outstanding play for Real Madrid in 2011.

Raptors agree. We like the long term veteran experience that Terry will bring behind Brandon Knight and DeMar DeRozan. While we hate to lose Jordan Hill, the fact is that he will require a larger contract next year and re-signing DeRozan is a higher priority.
