Rumours that Arsenal have clauses built into the Fabregas deal that give them first refusal should Barca decide to sell him, or a hefty percentage of any future sell-on fee should Barca sell him to anyone other than Arsenal.

Normally, I'd agree. But, for once this article was backed up by quotes , these from the player himself. I was shocked too, but he did specifically say he wants to play for Arsenal.

Apparently the sell on clause is 50% and Arsenal have the first right to buy Cesc at 40 million sterling.

Here's hoping for a massive Fabregas-Messi bustup.

I'd really want Sow too. In fact, let's just complete Arsenlille by adding Hazard too. Do they say no to 50m pounds for the pair?

I'd sooner spend $50m on a DM and a LB.

I'd take a center mid over an LB right now!

CM, DM, Striker (if we sell Bendtner) are probably our most pressing needs right now, imo.

It's a shame that out of Lilles forward three, I would have ranked them Hazard, Sow, and then Gervinho, and Gervinho is the one we got. Not that he's a bad player, but he's not near Hazard, or as good as Sow.

It's hard to be as effective when you have Ljungberg and Pires on the downside of their careers and you sell Vieira. After Vieira was sold he was still scoring 30+ goals, even for Barcelona he scored 25+ goals with the Messi/Eto'o front line, that's impressive and I wouldn't necessarily call that a downturn.

And to fund it, Inter bid for Forlan.

If we get a DM, our AM depth becomes Aaron-Jack-Rosicky which I think works. Starting CM pairing is Jack-New guy with Song 1st reserve.

I'd prefer to play Rosicky as little as possible. Scary as it is, I'll feel better when Diabys back in the side.

I really hope we sign people soon.

Even as third option? He's not great but he's not rubbish.

Arsenal now linked with Mathieu Valbuena, and for good measure the rest of Marsellie.
