What a game. What a hell of a game. Best Granny we have had in years - even better than last years draw. I really enjoyed watching.

I'm super happy for Jimmy, because I am a fan of his, but think that Ling should have got the North Smith for the job he did on Swan while getting 20 touches and a goal himself.

i gotta say, i thoroughly enjoyed that game. i'm still trying to understand all the rules and i certainly don't pick up any of the tactics, but the game is making more sense to me. geelong really dominated in the 2nd half and in the 3rd period that hawkins (sp?) dude was a one man freak show.

It's funny - we were smashing Hawkins in the first half because he was playing like such a bum. He was getting in the way more than anything, but as soon as Podsiadly went down Hawkins really stepped it up.

Geelong's attack on the ball, their tackling and their defensive pressure was just too much for Collingwood to handle. Plus Collingwood only had one 4 quarter performer (Daisy Thomas). All their other players just drifted in and out of the game too much.

Cracker game though.

Pity about freaking Meatloaf at the start though!!

This makes me worry just as that Sene dude from the Sonics.

Yinka Dare's too similar to Biyombo. Another great shot blocker, who started to play basketball very late. He even gets compared to Hakeem. I sure hope Biyombo won't go the same road. Anyway - I think this blog might be interesting.

Agreed, Yeah it was a magnificent grand final, the intensity was ridiculous even for the biggest game of the year & the momentum swung like a pendulum.

Geelong stood up when it mattered & Collingwood got the wobbles as is their tradition luckily Mick Malthouse blamed it on injuries...lol....seriously....

Steve Johnson done his knee the week before & it was a miracle he played....credit to him & his 4 goals.

Hawkins was the man in that third quarter & for a much maligned player he stood up when it counted & will definitely go down as a Geelong icon for life, we wouldn't have won if he hadn't played out of his mind.

Bartel was amazing & he goes down as one of the only men in history to be a brownlow winner, norm smith medalist & premiership player...It was a good choice but Selwood & Hawkins had great claim aswell.

3 premierships in 5 years is an amazing achievement in the modern game, Geelong will go down as one of if not the greatest sides of all-time.

I would love to see that Geelong team take on the 3peat Brisbane team. Two dominant sides.

Collingwood came stumbling into these finals trying to manage injuries and form while Geelong seemed to be firing on all cylinders at the end of the season. That thrashing by Geelong at the end of the regular season was an ominous sign.

I always thought that Geelong would run away with it and give Collingwood credit for fighting it out like they did.

hilarious, he's pretty good as a rapper too, which isn't often the case when it comes to nba players. So much swag

Finally there's a rapper I'll believe when he talks about drugs, guns and being in gangs.

Well, we can definitively say that Stephen Jackson is a much better rapper than his Malice at the Palace cohort, TAFKA Ron Artest.

Certified G.

Actually a better rapper than most "famous" rappers.

Guys you should head over to the trade board, there are some posters informing me about our franchise because obviously we as Charlotte fans have no idea about our own team...

The DJ Augustin Trade thread is derailed & the Charlotte/Chicago is also.....

I got informed the other day that Omer Asik is worth more than Hendo....yes 2.8ppg Asik....

You gotta see some of this crap to believe it
