Disappointing result. Our poor finishing is making watching this side even more frustrating. Gervinho, song, Walcott, all blew chances they should have scored. We need a real second forward we can bring on when we're pushing for a goal.

Szczesney really should have saved that goal, but he was solid other than that. Ref screwed us good on the first goal.

He wasn't the only one. Gervinho was crap, and Walcott was weak too.

Coquelin was good though, I thought. Gibbs looked good going forward, too.

Chelsea and Lampard looked so much better with Drogba holding up the ball and making space behind him as a center forward.

Martin Petrov thinks Agbanlahor is as good as Ronaldo.

I actually think Petrov is better than Agbanlahor.

He's been scoring and creating at a torrid pace this season...against subpar teams. He's really good right now but he's due for his mid-season disappearance act in about a month. That's coincidentally when Villa tends to plummet in the standings.

Great physical talent, strong finishing and shooting skills, but tends to disappear for several matches at a time.

Ayre told the Guardian: ''Personally I think the game-changer is going out and recognising our brand globally. Maybe the path will be individual TV rights like they do in Spain.

''If you're a Bolton fan in Bolton, then you subscribe to Sky because you want to watch Bolton. But if you're in Kuala Lumpur there isn't anyone subscribing to Astro or ESPN to watch Bolton, or if they are it's a very small number. The large majority are subscribing to watch Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea or Arsenal.

''What we are actually doing is disadvantaging ourselves against other big European clubs. If Real Madrid or Barcelona or other big European clubs have the opportunity to realise their international media value potential, where does that leave Liverpool and Manchester United? We'll just share ours because we'll all be nice to each other? The whole phenomenon of the Premier League could be threatened.

''If they just get bigger and bigger and they generate more and more, then all the players will start drifting that way and will the Premier League bubble burst because we are sticking to this equal-sharing model? It's a real debate that has to happen.''

I hope this moron realizes that Liverpool will play right into the hands of the other big clubs if this happens.

United could make a fortune out of selling individual TV rights.

If he wants more media income he should qualify his team for the champions league.

Also, in KL you see ten United shirts for every Liverpool shirt.

My favorite game of the season coming up, United vs Liverpool at Anfield. Nothing ever comes close.

No Rooney, Hernandez or Nani in the starting lineup while Gerrard starts for Liverpool. Ferguson is really something.. Not a single defender on his bench either lol

Update: Rooney's out because he's devastated by the Euro suspension

Modern footballers bemuse/amuse me - that ball clearly went off Gerrard (and he knew, too), but it's so ingrained in all of them nowadays to claim that every decision should go their way that Stevie launches into a shouting match with the linesman. Anyone would think they'd just awarded United a penalty. Ridiculous.

Really no attack going forward. Jones is playing with Fletcher in midfield and still seems like the guy who'd rather play forward then Fletch.

Well.. happy enough with a draw and kind of expected a strange line up with the important champions league game coming mid week.
