Had an exam this morning at 10, watched a bit of the United game and then turned it off just before Balotelli scored. Left at half-time, walked out after getting destroyed on the exam and saw City inflicted similar pain on United. No surprise that Evans was the donkey. Probably won't watch the recording later, so just going to assume it was embarassing to concede 3 goals in added time.

Watching the MOTD, it really was an amazing game despite the 1-0 scoreline.

I agree with this. Ray Wilkins can STFU, you hate Luiz we get it.

Never been more pissed off after watching a game after this (well this and that infamous game against Barcelona in the semis), the referee was so blatantly against us every call, I don't mind some of the calls that he made, but at least keep it consistent. Every time a QPR player gets shouldered it's a yellow card, every time Luiz gets absolutely manhandled in the box no penalty. Chris Foy needs to fined for this game.

EDIT:

And rightly so, AVB better not get fined for this. Even the FA should know what a crap performance Chris Foy had.

On a more lighter note, Birmingham City have arguably created the best chant ever. It was first demonstrated in their recent Europa League win.

AVB's probably gonna get banned for a couple of matches, but I don't think he cares tbh. I said this when Wenger and Ferguson got their touchline bans, but these bans are useless anyway.

Trying to find a clip of it but it was when David Murphy scored for them.

It goes, "Don't you wish your left-back was Dave Murphy"

To the tune of Don't Cha by the Pussycat Dolls. I was laughing when I was watching that game.

I don't mind a ban, but if he gets fined then the FA needs to sort themselves out.

He'll get both a ban and a fine, ridiculous as it is.

Arsenal fans used to do a similar chant of 'don't you wish your club had Thierry Henry' which was then changed to 'don't you wish your club had some history' for games against Chelsea.

Man.. what a depressing day!

After that 5-1 defeat at Maine Road a whole load of players were shipped away and the drinking culture at United pretty much ended.

This doesn't need as much a retrospection but guys like Evra, Rio, Anderson, Evans and Fletcher might be out if their performances don't change by the end of season.

Actually I think time's already run out for Evans.

I'm fine with the ban, as Di Matteo has proven to be a quality no.2, it's a shame he will be fined but it'll be a complete disgrace if he does.

Yeah, thinking about it I think we had a similar chant going, I think around after he was stripped of his captaincy from England. It went "Don't you wish your captain was John Terry" IIRC.

Been mine as well since he gave 1000 pounds to a hobo. Barton and Balotelli are probably my two favorites.

Yesterday Balotelli was reportedly driving round central Manchester in his Bentley convertible, giving high fives to every City fan he saw.

Starting to warm to the guy

Boss

I can't really hate on him even if he plays for City.

Balotelli is awesome, I'm glad he's finally getting some positive publicity. Ya he's very immature...but that's because he's so young. Dude's been playing high level pro soccer since he was 18. He'll always be eccentric but his heart is definitely in the right place.

Pumped to see him excel so much lately.

Can't say the same for Villa...gah that's getting depressing.

Big game tonight. Crucial matchup likely to be Juan Mata vs whoever we have at right back - sagna's out.
