I don't agree, I think CP still wants to play with Dwight more than Chandler ..
This could be good news for us. Paul would only consider GSW cause they wanted to sign Chandler. Now with the Clippers not wanting to trade Eric Gordon, CP could change his mind back to "I wanna play with Dwight" again ..
And for the 100.000.000th time, Otis should trade everything we've got for expirings, picks & whatever NOH wants and jump all over this ..
Very true, but I'm sure CP3 has chemistry with Chandler... and this is "his boy"... I wouldn't discredit that... but yes, playing with Howard would be preferably better for CP3 (I would hope, b/c I'm not CP3 and idk what he's thinking)
You could also look at Chandler as a trade asset... (take for ex: GS) would NOH take back Chandler if it netted them Ellis or even Curry?
I will change my stance on one thing though... Chandler going to NY seems to gridlock the Knicks from ever acquiring CP3 either through FA or S&T (they don't have any other assets to bundle with Chandler), unless they found a third team to help them out (lol won't happen!)... in GS's case however, they do have assets to bundle with Chandler (Ellis + Chandler, Curry + Chandler)
So from a strategic standpoint, I'd rather have Chandler go to NY than GS. But the whole perception could be off... what if Chandler going to GS (giving GS a shot at CP3) means Orlando has a shot at Ellis (w/ a J-Rich S&T)?
Moves are being made... we're just going to have to sit back and watch it occur (and see what unfolds).
