Dwight Howard has requested that the Orlando Magic trade him to the New Jersey Nets, league sources tell Y! Sports.

Actually think about this It could be awesome to trade him to LA if it all works out!

I have a feeling this is whats happening!!!

We send Hedo/Dwight to LA

LA sends us Bynum sends Gasol to Houston

We get Bynum/Scola/Martin 2012 1st!!!!!

We have a lineup of

Jameer
Martin
?
Scola
Bynum

I dont know about you but that is a very good lineup IMO especially if we can somehow pass on GBD or move a few players for a decent 3

I`m not buying Dwight wants the Nets, I think is just a report to make Dwight the Lakers main priority.

Now that Orlando has made it public, time for Otis to call L.A. and offer Dwight, Turk and Jameer for Odom, Bynum and Gasol.

Actually agree with this ..

More like Hedo/Howard for Bynum/Gasol/Odom.

I would take that deal. Keep Nelson and trade him/resign JRich for Ellis and Biendres.

I would rather have 3 quarters of LeBron and Dwight with our in-state rival than 4 quarters of "6 RbPG" Lopez.

Would you guys do Noah/Deng/Mirotic Charolotte's 1st and Bulls first for Howard/Hedo?

Good news for Orlando, honestly. You knew he was gone, but I'm glad he's pulling a Melo instead of a LeBron, right? You'll get SOMETHING back, regardless of what team you trade with.

As much as I don't have faith in Otis as a GM, one thing that comes across from him is a steel, a stubbornness. If NJN just want to offer garbage, I can see Otis telling Dwight to walk there, or trading him to another team offering similar garbage for an 8 month rental.

There is no way we only get Brook Lopez for Dwight. I will start a riot if that's all we get.

if we have to settle for brook **** lopez im done

thats not even close to fair value, the NBA hasnt changed at all

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

The League would not allow Dwight to be traded for ONLY Lopez. Not after this CP3 mess they created.

Return to Orlando Magic
