Yeah, heard that last night. If Dwight has to go, he has to go, but the thought of Gilbert Arenas potentially riding superman's cape to a title, after his inability to get/stay in shape, excuses and inconsistent play were a major factor in the way our season ended last year, and all while our team is still paying him his vomit-inducing salary....makes my blood boil.

Wow, ESPN/SportsCenter's piece on Dwight's frustration with Otis and the Magic FO is just angering to me, how do we end up in this situation every time with our star players?! RIDICULOUS!... I did enjoy Stan's comments though about how this is about the Magic and not about Dwight

But at the same time... come on... management is really going to give up on one of greatest bigs in this game's era? REALLY!? All for Otis and his boneheaded moves? Seriously, listen to the guy and get him help. He's crying out for help, he isn't going to explicitly state it, but we all know he's frustrated with the Magic FO. I'm not saying make him GM or let him control the franchise, but show some humility for once, and put the pride/ego aside... and just LISTEN to Dwight and give him some respect in doing so... he's basically THE FRANCHISE ... GET HIM HELP! Get this boy some help, somebody who can take the pressure off of Dwight offensively (Ellis, etc). Christ.

actually... considering GSW have missed the boat on the crop of FA defensive C's, what about this:

(can't get the ESPN trade machine deal to save)

LAC: Paul

NOH: Gordon + Kaman + Aminu + Jameer + Anderson + Min Pick

GSW: Okafor + JJ

ORL: Monta + Biedrins

ok, so we're overpaying for what we're getting... but if it keeps Dwight happy then it seems to make everyone happy, and it's a starting point for redeveloping this team.

for the record, i don't consider Monta to be the answer, but if he's an answer that might persuade Dwight to stick around, i'll try it.

Dwight/Biedrins
BBD/Clark
Hedo/Harper/Q
JRich/Liggins
Monta/Du

one of Hedo or JRich need to be swapped for a perimeter defender.

The Dutch Cookie averaged 20 pts through 9 games in Italy and Otis is impressed.... (actually, not sure how many games, but he averaged 20)
