Hells no, I'd much rather spend that 20 MIl on Podolski, Reus, Abel Hernandez, etc.

i'm not gonna be too upset as long as we go out and get a real striker. i definitely see the appeal of thinking that a new situation could turn it around for torres

A new start in Chelsea didn't help though, he's just lost it. Plus, I would prefer someone more versatile, who can play effectively on the wing as well, if needed.

Club's already denied that report, but if it were true, I think a lot of clubs would be interested thinking that they could revive him. He's obviously regressed as a player but it doesn't help that the current Chelsea squad doesn't suit his style. Personally I think big clubs should stay away from him because of all the negative media attention he could bring with him. They are going to be writing about him every time he sits on the bench or doesn't score.

Maybe a return to Spain and Atletico would be good for him?

Some people think he should sign with a team like Valencia.

I really don't think Chelsea would sell Torres. And even if they did, they wouldn't sell him to Arsenal.

Maybe Baeca now with Villa hurt. RvP to Barca rumours about to go through the roof.

dont think torres would work out at barca , if he cant play in the spanish system i dont see him fitting in with the barcelona system. Strikers like him and ibra just dont work out in that system.

Can you explain this please? I love the sport but I really don't know the tactics that well.

Torres' biggest strength has always been his pace, but you don't need much of that when you play for Barca because most teams usually play 11 men behind the ball against Barca anyway. IMO first touch, ball control, work rate, off-the-ball movement and passing are much more desirable qualities for them and Torres while decent isn't really known for those.

Kean but he won't get fired.

How the hell did Newcastle not score in that game and if it was possible, Obertan looks completely lost now.

Ashley Cole is so important for Chelsea's attacks he might just be the 2nd best offensive player in the team aside from Mata.
