It sucks because our best passer (Hedo) has no athletic ability and lacks craft.

This is another big issue... when we bench Jameer and Duhon comes in... it's not that Duhon isn't a smart PG or anything... but it's the fact that Duhon cannot dribble penetrate into the lane, collapse the defense, and find a way to make a play/pass for us or score... he either picks up his dribble near the top of the key and stalls the offense... or he forces a drive through traffic and makes a turnover either through making a bad pass or getting stuck in a bad predicament... he has bad court vision... that's not to say he hasn't made a few good passes and plays for us... he can be decent, but it's just too inconsistent... he has a hard time coming off of screens as well, which is his only option to get by his defender and get into the paint to break down the defense... he obviously can't do it off the dribble by himself...
Now with that said... Larry Hughes has slowed down a lot... but his size, handles, craftiness, and length gives him a better chance to get by his defender without a screen and make a good pass or play... and Hughes knows how to properly come off of screens and slip screens... he can find taller guys like Ryan and Howard posting up or slipping through after the pick... the offense flows better with Hughes in than it does with Duhon... which is why I think Nelson and Hughes should get all the minutes at PG, and Duhon should not play for the most part.
