Kiko Macheda on loan to QPR. Would have liked to see him go to Sunderland had Bruce still been in charge.

Games were at 1.30am 1/1/12 here, with Chelsea, Spurs and United all dropping points it was a great start to the year. :)

It reads: "Our findings of fact which are directly relevant to the Charge are as follows: (1) In response to Mr Evra's question 'F*****g hell, why did you kick me,' Mr Suarez said 'Because you are black'.

"(2) In response to Mr Evra's comment 'Say it to me again, I'm going to punch you,' Mr Suarez said 'I don't speak to blacks'.

"(3) In response to Mr Evra's comment: 'Okay, now I think I'm going to punch you,' Mr Suarez said 'Okay, blackie, blackie, blackie'."

Not sure how they got the exact quotes but if the report is true, eight games ban sounds like too little for Suarez

That's just disgraceful. I can't see why any of the black Liverpool players even agreed to support him.

Doesn't surprise me...I don't want to sound ignorant, but Uruguay is one of the most racist countries in S America.

Did anyone actually hear the conversation? Is this a matter of Evra's word against Suarez's?

So one goal short for RvP. Shame, he could have beaten it but none of the 4 handballs in the box in our past four games have been given as penalties. As Arseblog said, Magic Johnson would have to dribble the ball through the f'ing penalty area for us to get a spot kick.

Can't remember exactly who it was, but several other players and the ref were called to give statements too (although whether or not they actually heard anything of consequence I am not sure - don't have time to read the whole report).

Will Liverpool get rid of Suarez now? It's not like he was having a great year.

Fan found guilty of using racist language and it's a life ban from every ground in the country.

Player found guilty and it's an 8 game ban. Shameful.

Great performance by Sunderland, they pressed the ball the whole game long.

Blackburn were 33/1, should have taken a punt there. If United won, atleast I'd be happy to be top of the table.

Again, any chance Liverpool parts ways with Suarez to save face?

They worship him in Liverpool. He's been the only real talent they've seen since Torres was scoring for fun, so they won't sell him.

They'll do well to find a proper striker to play alongside him though.

They should spare no expense and spend 36 million pounds on one in order to make sure they have the right man.
