Demar at the sf :P good luck with that

Or we could deal him for another pick. Either him or Davis, hahaha because your right I wouldn't be confident with him at SF

i doubt either one could trade for one unless both ed and demar for a top 10, would that be too much..

+1 I'm with you guys. I find it odd that more people aren't on the JL bandwagon. The kid is gonna be a stud. If you can draft him and pick up a pick, drafting a solid piece like MKG while only giving up a SG that can't shoot or create his own offense and a PF that is currently being under utilized and doesn't really show great promise, it would be huge. I just don't see the IT factor that other posters see in these two. Looking at how thin the raps are in NBA talent these two should be shining if they really had an impact game. Both seem like solid guys but neither has All-star potential. Not really even close.
For once I would really like the raps to gamble and acquire some talented young pieces. Round out the roster with mentors and vets and then the future is looking at least promising. Right now this team is seriously lacking talent.

This, I was one of the many that use to big up DeMar. And while its still early to say "he's this or that", IMO he's just an average SG who can score. I also like Amir more than Davis so hopefully BC is watching this team and thinking, "We really need an injection of "REAL" talent".

The thing is if we had some legit pieces then DD is great guy to have. Bring him off the bench and let him get out in transition. But if you are placing the starting SG responsibility on him then he is destined to fail. He just isn't athletic or skilled enough. Also, agree 100% that Amir is a keeper. There is only 1 ball on the court and to have a guy that hustles, works hard for 2nd chance and garbage buckets and can knock down the open jumper to keep the D honest is such a valuable asset. Ed, IMO looks like a good role playe on a solid squad but not on this team. Actually he kind of reminds me of Aaron Williams back in the day which I guess isn't high praise.

Whats with Meyers Leonard love? Wow, more I hear about NCAA, more I convinced VAL would go HAM on those scrubs. Had no idea Leonard is even on a NBA radar screen... Stiff-maister...

BC needs to figure out how to get 2 pics & draft Barnes/ Lamb.

That would be a successful draft.

You should see his "one year plan" for raps, get rid of this guy or that guy, sign whoever, and then draft Leonard with the 3rd pick and have him play behind Bargnani. Wow, just wow :D

im big fan of lamb of last year, im also a big fan of mkg as well although i havent been keeping up college ball this year. you think jeremy lamb would surpass derozan in terms of scoring and other facets of the game as well? if so i'd be willing to trade derozan for a pick.

Every year's draft there will always be some prospects staying in school. So if Drummond, River and Qmiller staying and lets say our worst case is that we end up with a 7th pick (outside of top 5 reach, not even 6th pick)...who would we end up?

1. Davis
2. Lamb
3. Barnes
4. Sullinger
5. PJ3
6. MKG
7.

The BPA is ...Beal?

How do you guys fare with this prospect?

Lamb can definitely surpass Demar in every facet, the only knock on him is whether he's able to bulk up his size. Defense, he's more active, and has good length to bother shot and hes known as a ball thief. On offense, hes a better shooter, with good handle, good at going off-ball and on-ball and going around screens to get open spot up shots and has a good floater too.

I'd trade demar for a SF if we get lamb for sure.

sounds like my ideal sg, the bonus is he sounds like a pretty good defender. whats he slated to go? i think we should be able to get an sf with our pick next year and possibly grab and lamb at later pick, no?

It was a move - a shot off of a jab step. I'm just saying MKG isn't that handicap when it comes to creating his own offense off the dribble to get to the basket blowing by his initial defender. He's got decent breakdown ability when he takes two power dribbles with his massive strides.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

well nbadraft.net has him 3rd, where DX has him slated around 11. I think nbadraft.net has the more accurate range for Lamb I would love to get this guy he's only a soph.

I agree too, the way he takes his power dribble to the bucket is based off on his combination of quickness, aggressiveness and body control. When I see Demar doing that, he lacks quickness even when it has aggressiveness cos opponents could stop him if he isn't quick enough in that power dribble. A guy like Gerald Wallace his power dribbles comprised of those 3 elements. MKG though, needs to bulk up if he wants to successfully power dribble past the NBA-level defenders.
