americans are actually much more considerate of pedestrians than europeans, you cant even step off the curb somewhere like london without fear of getting annihilated, and youre **** if you get stuck crossing when the light changes. i almost got hit by a bus trying to cross the street.

but the worse drivers in the world can for sure be found in LA. no doubt.

well, i mean if were going to consider places where everything is a free for all, then yeah. i dont really consider that driving though, thats more like "trying to not die while getting to next location"

Have you driven in China?

I have not but I remember hearing they have the most traffic accidents. Wouldn't doubt a place like India either. Countries with billions of people and lost of foot traffic and people on the streets. Also a mix of cars, motorcycles, rickshaws, animals, etc etc.

Driving in Beijing, China is just as bad as Los Angeles. Lots of people and fast drivers.

Take this from someone who's lived in Los Angeles and Vietnam. Driving in Los Angeles, I've seen more accidents per day in LA more so than in Saigon. I think having freeways in LA has a lot to do with accidents especially when the speed is faster. In Saigon, its just slow traffic. Accidents do occur in Saigon, but its rarely serious or fatal unless you go to the highways.
