I'm guessing most of the fans didn't believe he was racially abused. Liverpool made it very clear that they believed Suarez was innocent.
The tweets are annoying. There are a lot of stupid people in the world.
Oh and Suarez 2nd game back is at United. I wonder how the fans will respond to him?
Good game though.
Whether they believe it or not, Suarez was found guilty by an independent panel, and booing Evra just keeps the can of worms open.
Re: the tweets, they go far beyond annoying. Scroll down this twitter feed to yesterday lunchtime while the game was on, he retweets a small selection of some of the stuff being tweeted yesterday in order to "name and shame":
https://twitter.com/#!/jamesjammcmahon That's not "annoying", it's disgusting. There's too much apathy to what is written on the internet.
As for Suarez' return, I imagine the United fans at the game are going to give him lots of stick, too, and perpetuate this whole thing. Sadly, this probably won't all be put to bed until both players have moved on from their current clubs. There will always be portions of uber-hardcore, moron fans who can never just let it drop and will boo and abuse either player. It's just sad that the "passion" for ones football club can turn people into idiots who would do and say things they would never dream of doing in every day life.
