I'm begging someone to please put Lin's face on Kobe and Kobe's face on Kanye, in that new Kobe commercial. You must be a different animal but the same beast. Your welcome. Lol

It's the board overall consensus too, and I find that to be quite sad.

But I do think Melo needs to look at the play of someone from 2008, and watch every single game of his......Paul Pierce.

he's not the only one saying that. almost every one's saying that. every podcast i've listened to, every time they talk about the knicks on ESPN/TNT halftimes, even our own Clyde Frazier has said it. do I hope it works with Melo? of course. but he'd have to make some changes in his approach.

Last time the Knicks beat the Lakers before tonight?

Post#307 » by Stannis » Sat Feb 11, 2012 4:57 am

When was the last time the Knicks actually beat the Lakers? I can hardly remember. It is amazing that Lin would be the one to lead the Knicks in a victory against the Lakers.

Melo needs to have a 1 on 1 chat with Lin

Give the keys of the offense to Lin, he deserves it

I understand the melo thing is a looming question mark. I'm not worried but leave it to Barry to be very pessimistic.

I agree Iverson has those qualities, and I see them in Lin as well, and I loved Iverson, but Lin is not that guy to me though.

He has picked up parts of some of the best pg's to literally ever play the game, and I truly never viewed Iverson to be a pg.

This kid has studied the game, and he has a legit chance to be quite special.

Absolutely. It's why I first compared him with Nash. He has a pg mentality and a team first temperment. But as far as his athleticism and skills are concerned he reminds me more of AI than anybody else. Certainly more than Nash. His strength is as a slasher and off balance finisher at the rim.

Imagine AI doing all the team first things people said he should do.

Oooh yeah. That's sexy.

D'Antoni is going to have to man up and tell Melo to play within the system when Lin is on the court and Melo can play Iso when he is on the bench.

But why do people forget that that Suns team that went to the WCF had Joe Johnson, also a ball dominant ISO player?

Iverson is 6-0, I've met him personally, and one of my sons is exactly his height.

I don't personally get into the shoes, no shoes thing.
