Allan Iverson with a brain...

Hell no.

Oh, I am quite serious. His physical abilities - speed, size, body control, toughness, vision, craftiness, as well as his attack mentality remind me of Iverson's.

His mental makeup... doesn't.

Isn't Iverson smaller and also faster? Maybe some other attributes but not this.

If we get healthy we are going to have a lot of depth going into the playoffs.

Lin/Davis/Bibby
Fields/Shump
Melo/Walker/Novak
Amare/Jorts
Chandler/Jefferies
Play time is over.

That looks better now on paper than it did a month ago. You left off Douglas who may come back from the dead as a bench SG.

DocZaius wrote:Lakers definitely did game plan for Lin

Its just that he had no weaknesses tonight

They tried getting physical with him, he still gets to the rim and draws fouls

They tried sagging off him, he hits the jumper

They tried to trap him, he passes it to the open man, who moved the ball around

Right now he is the ultimate PG. Not the most talented or athetlically gifted, but he has the ultimate balance between every aspect of PG play that is making the opposing team shake in its boots and he's also making his teammates play way above their heads.

He descended down from basketball heavens to forgive the Knicks of its basketball sins

Its a terrible comparison. Stockton one is better because of the 2-way skillset

We've got a nice young core of players... Lin, Jorts, Shump and Fields.. now if only TD can get his shooting touch back.

Sure does. Not sure about TD though. Not sure I want JR near this team anymore either.

It's just amazing how one player can change the whole calculus.

If they are getting obnoxious and state stuff due to bias that is delusional, by all means do something about it. I still see flaws to Lin's game here and there but can't talk about them due to criticism.

The flaws he has isn't really worthy enough to be talking about.

Everything the critics have said about him, he is adjusting and showing he can do them enough to shut their ass up.

Kobe has flaws and he's going into the hall.

I think the best Lin comparison is the one a poster brought up a while ago...

Image

KJ got into the paint at will... shot the ball decently and was a pretty good passer.

I'm honestly speechless with Lin and this team. Just when you think you seen it all, a night like this happens. Lin is getting better each passing game, it's scary how different he is from three weeks ago. I mean it's gotten to the point in which you just expect Lin to go off now. Once we get Amar'e and Melo back, this is going to be quite interesting to watch.

In Lin we trust.
Jazz: Under reconstruction, we'll be back.

Lin shot out the lights tonight and snapped the net doing it. People said his form was broken. Whatever. He did spin moves. He goes left. Now he needs to show his skill with a bull whip.

Yeah but he hasn't yet made circus layups while balancing spInning plates on his head and riding a tricycle. Once he does that I'll believe. Until then it's all hype.

Actually, my standards are stricter. When he can simultaneously dunk on Dwight Howard while going back in time to kill Hitler in 1935, then I'll be a believer. Until then, meh

lolololol I must admit that was funny

the only way to get Kobe's real respect is to piss him off by outplaying him
