yea i hate fans like that, we are all frustrated with dwight but you shouldn't get on twitter and stalk the man, than bash him every second and attack him personally from every angle, then create a topic asking whats wrong with dwight..its kind of pathetic for a person that old

What I don't understand is on nights like tonight, when we have a comfortable lead for stretches, is why won't Stan to to Ish for stretches? If he's raw and needs playing time, why not give him some PT when we're 15-20 points ahead?

I was ashamed that our fans were booing... Reactions are one thing, but you don't turn against your own.

The guy still did some good things defensively, took a charge. Some of the shots werent even that bad, Jameer set him up for one just an off night.

The die hards are bipolar, the lower bowel is incredibly wine and cheese, and the casual are turning into the kind of piss ants you get in the major markets like NY. Let's not turn into that.

It's not like he wasnt hustling either... Glad stan had his back tonight. It's been a rough stretch for Baby, But all of our Rotation players have been there.

This. like I said before, I wouldn't boo any player on the Magic. but, I don't mind if the fans boo if they deserve it like when they booed Dwight... I don't like booing players like Davis though because he actually had good looks he just couldn't make them... but, I don't like being like the New York Knick fans, booing everyone every time they miss a shot. but, like you said, I'm pretty sure if the fans knew they wouldn't boo.

I think while we get on here and talk about the faults of players and how they frustrate us is one thing, but booing your own guys on the court is inherently wrong imo. I wouldn't do it. I agree that taking some time off may best suit him. But, perhaps basketball is the best escape for him? If he feels like playing is the best escape for him, I don't see how Van Gundy can tell him otherwise. As long as he keeps playing, I'll be rooting for him to break out of this funk.

+1 same here... we all get frustrated at boneheaded plays (ex: Duhon) and say funny comments about it... but at the end of the day we want all our players to play well and do better... that's why we are the harshest critics... we boo, we cheer, etc. ... I don't like booing for the hell of booing, like certain fans (NY fans) during EVERY play... if it's a good play and a dude misses a shot, hey, can't get mad at that... but if it's booing for a lack of an overall team's performance AND EFFORT, that's understandable... then as fans, it's common that they boo in order to knock some sense into the team and wake them up... show them that you care... but at the same time, we have to uplift our guys and make sure we show our support.

The only time you boo a Magic player is when they are not playing with effort consistently (and I'm talking long stretches of multiple games).

EXACTLY

And at the same time (in the back of our minds) we want them to improve (why else do we boo? we know these guys can play better... look at J-Rich... we were criticizing him for so long to play better, now he's ballin!... he's showing us how he used to play)

For Glen... I just want him to find his niche and get going. Yeah he does stuff that p*sses people off on the floor (turnovers, etc.), but I want him to get better. He has shown glimpses of good plays.

LOL at people acting like he's just being booed for one game of bad play. He's been crappy all year long. With or without the personal issue's the guy just hasn't been good. Tonight was just a culmination of the fans frustrations with the guy. Just bad timing, and makes Magic fans seem cold even though they didn't know. I see nothing wrong with booing a player especially since you paid to see them play. We're not talking about a bunch of college players were talking about professionals even though BBD is mentally soft as hell. He's still a professional.
