Line up with just one Portuguese on the team? Is this a dream?

Also good to see Ramires and Drogba back in the line-up

Ok good I thought he was in the lineup and wasn't even getting on the bench would've been bizarre, since he's a lot more Ashley Cole than Bertrand

We're so out of the cup, I feel really bad for AVB, but this is what you get for playing Meireles and Mikel in the middle, don't understand why he still gets games especially with Lampard being our top scorer and were struggling for goals

Despite the scoreline, this game has actually been watchable. Love watching Ramires and it's always nice to see Ivanovic at RB. Mikel's not bad either, he's at least reliable

Can't imagine a more idiotically unreliable high profile central defender partnership than that of Gary Cahill and David Luiz. It's almost entertaining watching the two of them together.

Really liked Mikel today, think from this he deserves a run of games, especially if it meant keeping Meireles off. I actually think we should give Kalou a run of games (I know and I'm one of his biggest haters), but we really need to put Mata down the middle, a trio of him, Ramires and Mikel/Romeu is what we should run with. Apart from Mata we have nobody that can pick out a pass and probably 80% of our chances this season has either come from him or Ramires breaking. We need more options.

For Christs sake AVB play Frank, he's out top scorer and our lacklustre performances in front of goals should surely get him in the XI.

Need to keep Ivanovic at RB from now until the end of the season of we want a chance of 4th. Btw, I was watching in bits since I had work, how did Bertrand do? I can see he played the full 90, that's a good sign

Luiz and Ivanovic were outstanding at the back but yeah Cahill was shaky today.

Bertrand was just okay. Never really tested defensively and didnt see much of the ball offensively

like 5dom mentioned, luiz was great today (and has been great for a long stretch of games). not sure why he is still getting flack for his defending. i still want to see him in the midfield one day, sigh.

what was the point of playing both mikel and meireles today against b'ham who was playing with 10 behind the ball most of the game? there was no need for both.

avb made good changes at half with drogba and then later with kalou, which pushed mata to cam role, but then avb ruined it all by taking off mata instead of his boy meireles, who was garbage as usual.

torres just doesnt work with this midfield. whether its his fault of the teams fault doesnt matter. time to move on. drogba is back and he should start every game unless he needs a rest.

for all the talk this week about how the team bonded after the exchange of words between players and avb, everything looked the same, slow and predictable (at least in the 1st).

I don't fully understand the Wenger hate, you guys have been riddled with injuries all season and he still manages to have you guys at 4th in the league.

Pretty much no LB for the season so far, Sagna has just come back, Wilshere is probably out for the season. Now Kos and Mertesacker is out for long periods and te only person who has managed to stay healthy despite everybody questioning whether he can stay fit is RVP whose been on good form but has slowly come back down to Earth since the turn of 2012. I think Wenger needs a break
