Great GT

Let's get this win before the All-Star break... DESTROY THESE HAWKS! Let's Go! Play Defense, Move the Ball, Get Stops, Get Rebounds, and Protect the Ball... Go Magic!

I forgot we had a game tomorrow. Good Thread.

This should still be a pretty difficult game. even without them have Johnson and Horford. they're still gonna cover the shooters and let Dwight get his. I would like to see Wafer play around 18-20 minutes cause he could force them to guard us a different way. I would also like to see some Liggins, but I doubt he gets PT unless we get another blowout. this one is gonna be on Dwight IMO... at least offensively.

Defensively, we need to stop Josh Smith from getting down low, we should allow him to take his jumpers. and, if they go in, we can live with it. I have a feeling Marvin Williams might play well against us... I think we end up winning this one though.

It will be a damn shame if we can't beat them when they're w/o Joe Johson, Al Horford and Jason Collins. Magic better dominate them from start to finish. I expect Dwight to be aggressive on offense and not let ZaZa shut him down like last game. He won't be fouling you, Dwight, they don't have enough bigs!

Need to close out the 1st half of the season with a win. If we win tonight we go into the break at .657. I was hoping before the season started we'd be hovering around .700 at this point. That losing streak killed those hopes, but we're close enough IMO.

.700 would have been nice, but if we go into the break 23-12, I'll have few complaints, especially since it looked like the wheels were falling off our season a few weeks ago. That would be pace for a 54 win record in an 82-game year, which isn't bad at all. We've currently got the 5th best record in the entire league right now.

I mainly want to beat the Hawks convincingly just to remind ourselves that we can.

I really really want a win tonight, go into All star weekend on a good upswing, on a winning streak, just make it that much harder for all the talking heads to sh*t all over us for a week.

Good gt.
Maybe I am wrong, but I do not understand why you keep using CST when the game is at 7:30 EST ;)

This could be a classic trap game. Orlando could look through Atlanta. Coach StM must keep his players focused. And Orlando must play well against this injured Hawks club.

I've really grown to despise the birds. They must be taken out at all costs tonight as revenge for their existence.

I'll be really PO'd if we can't beat the Hawks in this one. No Joe Johnson, no Horford and they are playing pretty bad in general right now.

I wouldn't be shocked if we did lose.

I just hope to see more of Liggins.

Exactly. Hawks is our biggest rivalry and we need to take that back from them. There should be no reason we lose this game. Looking forward to the Josh Smith matchup with Ryno/BBD. I expect to see more BBD for his defense on this guy. Sure hope the boys are not too tired from last night. Well, they really didn't have to work hard, so they still should be fresh.

Really an important game from my point of view. In a short season, each wins count to get home court in playoffs. And Atlanta is a direct competitor for Orlando.
