In a vacuum it wasn't a terrible decision - Hedo hasn't lived up to the money he's getting paid - but we then bit the bullet and brought him back.

Shipping Hedo out again to bring in a different friend of Dwight's would probably just alienate Howard even more, unless it was the kind of move that screamed "instant contender". And Stephen Jackson does not scream "instant contender".

Maybe we trade J-Rich for SJax and someone else from their team? :dontknow: it doesn't have to be Hedo if Dwight still wants him around.

Maybe. I don't know how close Dwight is to Jason or JJ. But even then, from a basketball standpoint, I wouldn't take Jackson over either of them.

Imo we'll be seeing S. Jax in pinstripes next month, but it has to be J-Rich going out. Any other player(s) that need to be involved as filler pieces should be Orton, Duhon, and Glen (in that order). Knowing Otis though....well you never know what Otis will do.

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

I would not trade a starter for SJax. The guy has NO value for Milwaukee, none. We offer QRich/Duhon/Orton and they take it or leave it. JRich is really playing great lately, and Hedo is a great 3 point shooter and shot creater. Neither are toxic, though Hedo has more value in Orlando than elsewhere. I would love the Duhon/QRich/Orton for SJax move that, no doubt.

That would be such a great trade on so many levels.

Unfortunately, that would leave the Bucks with 4 PG's on their roster. Prolly need a 3rd team involved.

Well, what if we don't get him and the Nets do? then people would be regretting not trading for him, as that would make their odds higher at getting Dwight. cause I doubt the Bucks would go for that trade.

I'd say a SF or SG. they have Jennings, Illyasova, and Bogut at the 1, 4, and 5. so, we could really get him with just Hedo or J-Rich. I'm leaning towards J-Rich for cap reasons though.

What if the Nets get him? He provides the Nets no competitive advantage this year nor will they make the playoffs, so his play won't effect our season. Beyond that, I couldn't care less.

I'm just saying if we want to keep the best C in the game, this could really help us.

ill take washed up jackson over washed up turk in the playoffs. the hawks would just put smith on turk and completely take him out of the game again. at least jackson would give effort on defense

I had thought I'd lean towards SJax replacing Hedo, but really, I'm back to a big nah.

I will take Turk over SJax at this juncture of their careers for sure. I seriously don't think people watch Hedo througout the actual whole game and just concentrate on a few errors. Every player on this team makes errors. His are just more magnified. Yet, people fail to recognize the plays where he hustles and helps the team without recording a single stat.

does anyone know if the cba allows sign and trades during the season? What if orl could get chandler and give denver some help (although they are a very deep team already). Just hopeful wishing because I think chandler is on the verge of being an upper second tier wing.

So, Turk disappears when it matters most (at least at this point in his career), so, I prefer SJax even more now. he can't be worse than Turk....

That's the way I see it. It's a fair swap. He can't be any worse than Turk.
