Bynums knee brace gives him slight plain during awkward movements. No big deal.

that's called saving his knee's life.

I saw that too.

Just rewinded it. Looked like on the way up his knee went into Gasol's hip that's why he shook it off so easily

Didn't expect to win this. Thunder played great. Harden needs to know his scrub ass is talking smack to someone who actually accomplished things in the NBA. Dude thinks he singlehandedly stopped Kobe, like there was no box in 1.

what? he played really good defense him in the 1st half, only time Durant really got off was when Barnes/Kobe was guarding him, KD was destroying Barnes.

Meh, not a good way to go into the all star break. I didn't think we had much of a chance to pull this one off but it's still frustrating because our weaknesses are so obvious-PG and SF. Hopefully this is addressed soon...

Kobe :-? -Kobe was off tonight for whatever reason. He saw a few defenders on him but none were named Thabo Sefolosha so I'm not sure why he put up a stinker tonight. Fatigue I guess? He was trying to force things too much when we were trying to come back. Defensively he was pretty bad tonight, seemed lazy /tired more than anything.

Gasol 8-) -Probably the best performance out of all the players for us tonight. He was doing a nice job of battling inside against a pretty tough interior defense. He is still too tentative at times though. Overall, not a bad game.

Bynum :-? -Was plodding along for most of the game before he showed a little fire in the 4th. Their bigs did a nice job of bodying him up but Drew just missed a bunch of chippies. His conditioning still isn't up to par for those 2nd of back to backs it seems. His defense followed the same pattern generally, he picked it up in the 4th but wasn't great for the rest of the game. He landed awkwardly on Pau with less than a minute to go, was able to run up and down a few possessions after that. Hopefully he's ok.

Fisher  -It's one thing to guard the corpse of Jason Kidd, it's another to guard Westbrook. He got switched on to him on several possessions for some reason and the results weren't pretty. He wasn't contributing much offensively either. One can only hope that we have a new starting PG after the break.

Metta  -Seemed to play tough D on Durant early on but that faded as the game went on. He was actually hitting some 3s so that was good to see. He is definitely not the same player defensively though. If he isn't hitting long range jumpers he's useless since he doesn't really create anything off the dribble or in the post anymore. Meh.

Barnes :( -Didn't see as much off the ball cutting by Matt, the Thunder were playing tough D all night though. He was playing with effort but is simply overmatched by Durant.

Blake :P -Hit some key buckets for us off the bench. He wasn't having much luck defending Westbrook either and their rookie PG Reggie Jackson was playing well against Steve. He's a terrific backup PG but like I said earlier, we desperately need to find a starting caliber point.

Murphy :( -His lack of athleticism and speed was glaringly evident tonight. He sets good picks and is always a threat from the perimeter but these are the type of games where McRoberts can be valuable.

Goudelock :( -Tough night for the rook. He wasn't hitting anything outside and we didn't see any drive attempts for his patented floater. He wasn't having much luck defensively either.

Kapono/McRoberts/Morris  -Garbage time.

Shivers.. games like this ruin my weekend, esp all star weekend with no laker ball. Root for Bynum I guess. Prolly get stomped by Howard though.

Howard's gonna have an awful game and weekend...gonna be nothing but questions about his definite departure. With hordes of media he'll get peppered with questions.

On another note, it's best that Pau isn't going to Orlando. The time off will give him time to reflect on things and refresh his body.
