This is worse than the rumored JO for David West deal before the season.

Why do the C's think they can trade an old broke down O'Neal for AS caliber players? And why do none of the media reporting it question the lunacy of such a deal for the other team?

Its a good move for Boston(although I can't stand Beasley and think he's overhyped) but the move for the Wolves makes no sense to me at all. JO is old and washed up, why give away Beasley for that?

I actually don't think his overhyped its just that he didn't develop well but if you look on his game, he just needs to be motivated and little bit develop and he can live up to the expectations

That maybe true, seeing him last night especially you see flashes of great offense. But after seeing him in Miami, I hated him. I thought he was a total bust, granted a lot of that had to do with their offense solely based around D-Wade, but even when they asked him to do stuff he couldn't. I do think with the right coaching and right people around him he could develop his game, I just can't stand him for his lackluster years in Miami.

Beasley for JO and the LA Clippers 1st would be a decent deal for both sides

As for the deal with allen, darko, randolph... meh, sounds great in theory but we can say goodbye to any cap space next year. Ask that for overpaid beas, magic and last year of darko. I'd rather throw my marbles at dwight and deron.if we miss we can properly rebuild.

JO is done, Celtics would be gifted Beasley at that price.

JO HAS been done for a while. He was a complete non-factor towards the end of his final season in Miami, he didn't do much last year, he hasn't done anything this year. I don't get how he kept getting signed.

Great deal for the Celts imo. They get younger and start to rebuild. Don't know why in the world TWolves would give this gift to the Celts. I realize they don't need any of those players (but either do they need any of the one they'll be getting). Will it come gift rapped too?

I'm not buying this straight up deal of Beasley for JO. More pieces have to be included like the Wolves dumping Darko or Ray Allen coming to Wolves.

I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of pick headed to Minnesota, but a lot of people are overrating Beasley's trade value.

Obviously there would be a pick involved, you guys should stop being so naive.

Nonetheless, I'd rather see an Allen for Beasley/Webster swap than that JO deal. It makes more sense and actually gets Indy a real option at shooting guard for once, and Allen's shooting is much needed next to Rubio.

He's worth more than JO that's for sure. Not sure why anyone would really want him.

Beasley, although has his off-court problems can still give you 14-20ppg and is only 23.
