Obviously there would be a pick involved, you guys should stop being so naive.

Nonetheless, I'd rather see an Allen for Beasley/Webster swap than that JO deal. It makes more sense and actually gets Indy a real option at shooting guard for once, and Allen's shooting is much needed next to Rubio.

I agree it's either JO and the Clippers #1 pick or JO and 2 #2 picks.

Under Doc, playing KG and Paul......Beasley might actually live up to his potential

I'm not writing off Beasley because I think he's clearly a PF. He hasn't played enough at PF for me to write him off at that position.

I don't think he's a star or anything. But I could see him being a legit starter and effective player

Rondo/Bradley + Beasley to rebuild doesn't sound too bad.

Maybe Wolves don't want to pay for Beasley in the summer. Although I'm sure they could get more for him. Like someone said earlier, JO+LAC 1st for Beasley seems better although the pick will be late as hell.
Dammit...:

I've got Nurkic fever now.

Sam Amico has a way of quoting sources and "anonymous scouts" to fit whatever narrative or agenda he is pushing.

I am not one who typically says that about reporters, but he is guilty of it.

I went to the Clips-Wolves game last night and Beasley was on fire. I think he is a very useful 6th man. The Wolves would be wise to keep him. Do they want to trade him because they don't want to or can't afford to pay him?

Well I'm a C's fan but this is my guess as to why he is being shopped:

1) Derrick Williams is waiting in the wings for more PT.

2) Beasley is still occasionally a knucklehead.

3) Beasley has had his share of off court issues.

4) Beasley is probably going to be overpaid this offseason so getting a 1st (and another expiring) is better than just letting him walk.

maybe your right about 4 but I would say no to the rest. The reason he's on the block is because he doesn't fit in with adelman's offense.

Beasley for JO makes no sense for the Wolves.

1. We don't need a backup center when Darko is just as good as JO is at this point, and he still barely plays.
2. If we trade Beasley, why would it be for expirings, when he is an expiring himself?

Wolves are just trying to scare the Lakers into making a deal for there pick before they trade it for someone else.

This makes sense for Boston as they get two bigs, but they should find a third team for Beasley.
Allen makes even more sense for Minnesota (and JO is just a big body who expires so...)

Losing Allen is a big deal for Boston though and Beasley's not the proper replacement since he's a negative on any team he's on until proven otherwise.

While this doesn't make sense for the Wolves, I strongly dislike Beasley game. I just don't think he plays winning bball.

Why not Beasley to the Bulls to help them with scoring off the bench during this playoff run?
