At this point why are we discussing anything accept trade? I saw a story where it says Dwight wants to sign with Jersey outright so they don't lose their decent pieces. Hense, he's trying to F over our franchise now, forget this Ellis crap and just trade him to a rental team. Dwight Howard is a cancer and I want him and his stupid Superman/ and Clark Kent glasses bs off the Magic. At least do it to take Hedo or Big Baby's bad contracts with him and have some free cap space. I can handle being bad for a couple seasons, what I can't stand is the idea of Magic management just letting this piece of garbage dictate absolutely everything. Trade him for something, get him to Jersey where his teams still won't be better than Miami or Chicago or Atlanta, and after a couple rough years the Magic will be better too, but he can have his precious shoe money...bye bye Mr. "Christian." He's such a fraud.

We should give up our rights to Fran Vasquez, our 2012 1st round draft pick, and QRich for Beasley.

If Stan Van Gundy is our coach, then a draft pick unless it's a lottery pick is useless. We don't play young players anyways.

It's so ridiculous that anyone here wants to give up our 1st rounder for Beasley... especially in a draft where we could get a good player.

Also, love the Stan dig... CLee broke out with Stan. Liggins has been getting consistent time with Stan. Harper and Orton aren't ready..

Yeah that's just a myth invented by Stan haters, It's been proven that if a rookie can contribute he plays not really debatable unless their dumb or havent watched the last few years. Benefit of the doubt and go with the latter.

if we are going after lee also then i believe jrich+anderson would be the ones getting moved for lee. Not sure gs bites unless the get a center back also though. Anyway NO can get involved for Kaman?

a return of nelson/jrich/anderson/kaman is a great return for lee/ellis imo.

well if that's the case then would we be the flux capacitor in the delorean? this team needs a wing scorer like Ellis....but i'm in the camp that thinks that this is just smoke that will clear away in the next few days.....almost too good to be true....hope we can land Ellis but realistically it's just too much of a long shot...

I have said this numerous times but GMs and coaches around the league value Jameer a lot higher than we do.

Meh I'd hate to lose JJ and Ryan, but if this gets Dwight to stay then you almost have no choice. I like getting Lee back.

FWIW, Lee has ties to the area (UF Alum), and could replace JJ as the crowd favorite...

I also think they'd both benefit TREMENDOUSLY from playing with and off of Dwight. Neither guy has ever played with a legit big man their entire career.

Sounds like a good deal, but it's just crazy to think that we will have gutted our entire team in under 3 seasons after making the finals, with the exception of hedo and dwight.

I don't like a move for Lee. I prefer to get Ellis and keep Anderson at PF.
