once we realize we can't land a significant player whats the plan? ellis & nash arent getting traded imo. If we keep this same roster after the deadline without a commitment from dwight it's going to be another 1st round exit.

Magic out:
J-Rich
Glen Davis
1st round pick

In exchange for:

Monta Ellis
Andres Biedrins

This seems way to good to be true, but thought I'd share to give some food for thought. If it actually happpens and we get to keep Ryno... :o

WAY too good to be true therefore it is. salaries don't even match up

Keeping this team together as constituted isn't even on the table IMO. Make a trade or two to keep Dwight, or face the tough decision to trade him before the deadline.

That would be flat out robbery and the salaries don't match up.

It's possible that this is the basic framework of a deal with more needed to make the numbers work.

If that rumors is true, it's hard to believe we get another player on this team who shoots free throws worse than Dwight. But other than that, I actually like what Biedrins could bring to this team.

Biedrins is actually a good player, and he would be playing around 12 minutes a game! I like that deal a lot!!

Biedrins kinda sucks now, but he would be fine as a backup I think.

We need to convince LA to help us with that huge trade exception...

I like getting Ellis but not while we still have Jameer here. We all know SVG will continue to start Jameer along side Ellis, if he has him. Otis needs to trade Jameer to force a different lineup & rotation on SVG.

But then again, if true, this puts us in a great position for the summer of 2013. GREAT POSITION if Ellis & Biendrins opt out of their contracts.

But I don't believe it.

Biedrins really sucks now, and if we were willing to pay that much for a backup C we would have just kept Gortat.

Biedrins isn't the point of the trade, Ellis is. In order to get Ellis we will have to take back Biedrins.

If the Magic get that deal done for Ellis, that would be amazing. I'm sure the Magic are trying to get another team involved to give the Warriors more though. The 1st rounder would probably go to the 3rd team.

He's getting 17 minutes a game, and posting 1.1 blocks, 4.4 rebounds, 2.2 points (shooting 61%). He will rebound, play defense and won't take Big-Baby-stupid shots. He will be a great backup.

If that is true, then we should send that 1st rounder to Minnesota and get the Warriors Beasley to entice the offer
