I definitely think he made a wise choice going to the DH league.

Are you just forgetting that he had an injury last season?

I rate my injuries from 1 to Kendrys Morales.

What Pujols had last year doesn't even register.

I think your scale is broken then.

15 games, aka a little over 2 weeks is significant time?

Oh, idk, but if you have a scale to rate injuries and someone's injury doesn't register on it, then your scale is broken.

*Hint: Start with 0.

/Edit again: I don't know who any of those people are except the ESPN guy.

You do know he rushed back because it was a contract year, correct?

I think Pujols would have gotten his gigantic contract even if he sat out 2 months or whatever.

lmfao either way I'm done talking about Pujols. If you think he'll put up .299/37/99/with a OBP of .366 at age 35 then I really don't know what to tell you.

You'll see soon enough.

I don't think so. Because while he sat out Fielder was playing his ass off and people around the league were beginning to question whether or not Pujols was going to be the #1 FA.

What I'm trying to say is Fielder would've in higher demand if something like that had happened imo.

What age do most MLB players retire? I'd imagine you could play well into your 40s at some positions if health.

You're reaching now. Pujols was a guaranteed lock to get paid, even if he missed more games because of a fractured wrist.

Some play into their 40s and those that do are straight garbage. Jason Giambi's one of them. Jeter's what, 37 and his decline is very noticeable.

Did you just start following baseball? He may not ht 37 HR at age 35, but those other numbers are most certainly attainable for arguably the best hitter of our generation, sans Bonds.

Idk i think GM's have just as much of an issue with Fielder's weight problems as much as they would Pujols' wrist

Right but Fielder's in his prime and will be in his prime longer than Pujols at this point in their careers. After the Angels signed Pujols people still questioned as to whether or not LAA did the right thing by signing Pujols over Fielder, believe it or not.
