man our press reminds me of the Gary Williams Terps press. It works 1 time and we get easily scored on the other 9 times

I think Vesely's girlfriend would be a better rebounder. The guy just has no lower body strength right now. Kind of like McGee in his first year. But grab the damn ball instead of spiking it.

Agree, he's been fine. Center is where he should be till he gets into better shape. Unlike McGee he'll pass it out of the post which leads to open shots.

who says he's a backup. Thats the point. On most other teams he wouldnt be and it wouldnt shock me if he's in the D-Leauge in a year or 2

Blatche played center before he got hurt. This is not a revelation. I still want to see Seraphin against the bigger, bulkier centers.

4 assists in 5 minutes. He's been fine. You don't need blazing athleticism, but his near poster dunk that was blocked should tell you he can get up if need be.

I like him as the backup PG, he understands the game pretty well.

Who said anything about it being a revelation?

I like him as the backup C, he understands the game pretty well.

stats dont tell everything. He threw and basic throw ahead pass to JV on a wide open dunk and the other 3 are regular passes to Mason who is red hot. Sessions is also lighting him up

no, its more than that. He's like to short & stubby with no explosion to him. He has no advantage over anyone. Most short guys are super fast or they are mad strong. He's neither. He plays the right way but he's at too big of a disadvantage
That's why he's a backup.
That's your opinion. I'd like to give him another year. There's nothing wrong with a smart backup who lacks explosion. If he can get a better jumper and get his body more toned, I think he'll be ok. Wizards have about 1,000 more problems than whether Shelvin Mack can backup John Wall.

Wizards actually looking like a team out there. McGee is trying, but he's still such a huge liability defending the PNR.

dlts20 - you're out of your mind with respect to Mack, he's doing a respectable job, for a rookie no less. Not sure what your beef is.

There's no way Andray can play the 4 anymore. He is so out of shape it's embarrassing. I'm fine with him backing up Javale for now.

And they take a one-point lead with him at the point. Game. Set. Match. :D

That's fine as long as they want to play Booker/Vesely there but don't forget about Seraphin. He needs minutes. Unless they are gong to play him as much as possible to showcase him before March 15. :-?

Good to see that Blatche still can't be bothered to challenge any shots.

Beautiful defense by Singleton there resulting in Vesely's steal!

Singelton has gone from one of the best defensive players in the league to our worst defensive player now
