The best deal the Magic can make at this point. All these guys mentioned outside of Ellis (Nash, Jackson, Calderon, Sessions, Beasley etc.) aren't going to get the Magic over the hump.

Nets throw in their pick and the Rockets pick and the Magic go into the draft with 3 picks in the 10-20 range to rebuild.

Hedo is not included, I wouldn't do it. Plus, JRich is actually still a good piece. Why would we help NJ by giving him away?

I'd do that trade if we absolutely had to. I'd rather do the Lakers trade. or, if the Knicks offered Melo/Chandler, fillers, and picks, for Dwight and crappy contracts, I'd rather do that than any other trade that's somewhat realistic.

- Orlando is definitely pursuing Monta Ellis but Golden State's asking price is high
- Saying they will only trade him for Howard is stupid but a third team definitely needs to get involved
- Apparently Otis and the general manager of GS have been talking trades for months
- No truth whatsoever to the Josh Smith rumors. HoopsWorld is terrible.
- Stephen Jackson will probably end up in a Magic uniform ONLY if they can do another trade. They don't want to trade anyone that might be useful in an Ellis/Nash trade.
- Everything Alex Martins says about Dwight is true. He loves Orlando and wants to stay but moves have to be made.
- Everybody wants Ryan Anderson, so again, HoopsWorld is stupid. But Orlando would like to hold onto him unless he's included in a Monta-type trade.
- Orlando has a "go big or go home" mindset. They want a Monta caliber player.
- Rondo isn't going to happen and wasn't even discussed.

Nothing I hear will probably be groundbreaking (you never know though). Pretty basic stuff. My friend only works home games so that's usually when I hear things. But he has his connections so he's going to keep me updated. My friend also said (and this is just his opinion), that Monta seems a lot liklier than Nash.

Thanks homie! What big do think will be able to get the deal done and do we have the pieces to send to that 3rd team. I think Okafor Kaman and maybe Bogut

Also...keep hoping that Golden State loses. Right now they're evaluating things with Curry out. They still believe they can make the playoffs so when Curry comes back, a trade will likely go down with that team. Will the Magic be involved? Time will tell. I'm remaining optimistic. If no trades happen we will be disappointed either way so might as well be optimistic til the time comes. No matter what I'll be Team Magic. And I think Dwight stays. The ball is in Otis' hand. If there are any specific questions you guys want me to ask, I'll be sure to do so. Like I said don't expect breaking news but clarifications of things are likely.

Good stuff! I hope all of these things are true..... except for the Rondo one. because he'd be really nice to have in a Magic uniform.

I'm not too sure personally. They like Lee a lot but he has a huge contract. I don't think GS wants a star in return for Monta, just pieces that they need. We don't really have that. They need a center, which we need to find for the trade. Personally (and this is just my opinion), I think J-Rich would be a good veteran to come off the bench for them. I asked in the GS board and they disagreed. But J-Rich back in GS behind Thompson can do a lot for the kid. But their main concern is a center. If they come to grips with the fact that a playoff run is basically out of the picture, getting Bogut might be a great thing for them.

Agreed. Rondo is great, and he wants to win. And I don't know how he's going to feel if Boston rebuilds, but you can guarantee they do everything they can to keep him. Most likely one to get traded? I'd say Ray Allen. But who knows what Boston is going to do.

 All I want is one swing for the fences trade to try to keep Dwight. If he leaves over the summer then fire Otis and I'll be content that Martins gave it his best shot. Obviously if no move can be made then you go ahead and move Dwight at the final hour of deadline day.

Correct, he would not be a perfect fit.

A Baby for Blatche swap make any sense for either team?

Probably. I like Blatche, I'd try it. I just don't know how his contract looks.

Exactly. I would have my countered deal (a few post up) ready for March 15th if we can't get anything else done.

Blatche may be a bonehead...but the dude is a talented big.. he can put up near triple doubles at times ... he's been pushed back in Washington... Went from 1st option a couple years ago to 4th or 5th option behind Wall, Young, Crawford, and McGee

Blatche can put up 20/9/3 any night if given the chance... we all saw it a couple years ago. ... if we can get him for dirt cheap, you do it!

Hey guys, this is my first post. I hope you guys think I have a good trade idea, what if this 4 team trade went down.

Orlando Trades: Jameer Nelson, Ryan Anderson, J-Rich, JJ Redick
Orlando Receives: Monta Ellis, David Lee, Brandon Rush

Golden State Trades: David Lee, Monta Ellis
Golden State Receives: J-Rich, Chris Kaman, Ryan Anderon, Micheal Beasley

N.O Trades: Chris Kaman
N.O Receives: Jameer Nelson, JJ Redick

Minnesota Trades: Micheal Beasley
Minnesota Recieves: Kwame Brown ( Expiring Contract )

Throw some picks around, and this can work out for all teams involved. and I dont see any reason that the Warriors decline a trade like this

You would think Nelson J.Rich and Ryan would improve GS bench tremendously. I think Bc we are so desperate teams will give us the run around but hopefully we can get monta and sjax quick
