Who said Bogut is on the block? Nice trade if so.

The Bucks are now willing to listen to trade offers they receive from rival teams in regards to Andrew Bogut, according to sources.

Sources say the Bucks will only entertain trades from teams willing to take back Stephen Jackson.

I just thought this was funny. from ESPN

39. Marcin Gortat
Paying just $21.7 million through 2014 for a true center averaging a 16-11 with 56 percent shooting? Sign me up.11 This had a chance to become Otis Smith's shrewdest signing ever, only he messed it up by flipping Gortat into $58.8 million of Hedo Turkoglu and Jason Richardson. Otis Smith, everybody! He's the Reverse Black Friday — instead of everything being 50 percent off, it's 220 percent on.

Monta Ellis: He's underqualified to be one of the best two guys on a contender and overqualified to become a more polished version of Jason Terry in Dallas (an Irrational Confidence Guy Deluxe). Where does that leave us for someone making $11 million a year? I don't know.5

50. Ryan Anderson
Remember my December column about the Salary Cap Fantasy League? Would you enjoy paying $2.24 million this season for a guy who plays 31 minutes a game, averages 16.5 points and 7.5 rebounds, makes 43 percent of his 3s (and takes 6.7 per game!) and 86 percent of his free throws and plays with the effectiveness of an obscenely rich man's Steve Novak? I thought so.8

48. Josh Smith
The original JWOWW needs a new team, new fans and a creative point guard who understands his fundamental need to slam home alley-oops with the sustained fury of a pregnant Jessica Simpson housing a box of doughnuts. Did you know the Hawks are paying $46 million to three guys next year (Smith, Al Horford and Joe Johnson)? See where I'm going with this? TRADE!!!!!!!!!

Only one problem: Josh Smith trades never seem to work. Who says no to Smith for Brook Lopez and Memo Okur's Expiring Deal? (Answer: The Hawks.) Who says no to Pau Gasol for Josh Smith, Tracy McGrady and Kirk Hinrich? (Answer: The Lakers.) Who says no to Atlanta saving $20 million next season by dealing Smith and Marvin Williams to Cleveland for Antawn Jamison's expiring contract? (Answer: The Hawks. But they definitely had a two-hour meeting about it.) What about the same Smith/Williams package for KG's expiring deal? (Answer: Probably Boston … if only because Danny Ainge took a designer drug that makes him think he can sign Dwight Howard this summer.) Who says no to a "Derrick Williams and the Anthony Randolph/Anthony Tolliver expirings for Josh Smith" swap? (Answer: Minnesota. But you know who says yes? YouTube!!! Rubio teamed up with Josh Smith????) There's never been a player thrown into more failed Trade Machine deals than Josh Smith.

Bucks. Why would they want Turk and Duhon? Horrible, horrible trade for them imo.

if they're trading bogut they're tanking hard. they have 2 young centers that would be the future for them most likely. hedo duhon only really would be on the books next year for 15mil combined next year and the year after can be waived for 7.5mil or so. it saves them money, it gets rid of the cancer, gives their future C's minutes and growth time with servicable vets on a tanker team.

i mean it literally said. you have to take stephen jackson to get bogut. i can't see anyone giving them young guys and picks or whatever and being able to take on that much salary of jackson and bogut without having to give some bad salary back to the bucks. we'd probably have to throw in a pick to the bucks because they'd be in serious rebuild.

a while back when sjax was saying he wanted to come to orlando i went to their board and asked if they'd take duhon and hedo for sjax and livingston. and a lot of them were like, yes if you throw in a pick.

Looks like ORL contacted OKC and wanted Harden + Ibaka (and I'm sure some filler but it doesn't say) for Howard. OKC of course said no.

Just thought you guys should know.

Magic have talked to OKC but Thunder balks at giving up Ibaka and Harden to rent Dwight

There has to be a way to make that work for us and GS. They get the "legit center" they want, we can take over SJ and pry monta out of their hands.

man okc would be unstoppable if they rented dwight. its a tough decision to make for a GM considering the future, but this season would be insane for them...

Ibaka and Harden :-o ... hell yeah... find a 3rd team and make it work... but obviously OKC won't take a Dwight rental :(

They wont risk their future on a rental.

I can see us making small moves improving the bench in the next few days.

This is huge news for us considering jackson wants to be here and the warriors are looking for a center. I really hope Otis or Alex jumps on this....the question is what does Milwaukee want?

Just bought tickets to the Pacers game on Sunday since my family will be in town. Hopefully the team looks a bit different. The Bucks/Warriors/Magic deal makes too much sense not to happen, which means it won't.

they're going to lose harden and ibaka soon anyways. i think if they did that, they'd easily win this year.

I'm a Nets fan and I'm bewildered by most of the trade proposals people put together like Lopez + Okur + Brooks + pick for Dwight. That's just simply not enough. I guess if losing him for nothing was 100% it is better than nothing, but I feel like Billy King can do better.

I put a trade machine together (not working now because too many players breaks the machine apparently) that essentially brought 2012 Houston 1st (only valuable if they make the playoffs) + MarShon Brooks + Jennings + Bogut + (maybe a few others to work it all out) to the Magic with Lopez + Okur's expiring + 2012 Nets 1st + $3M cash + maybe Morrow or others to the Bucks, and Nets getting Dwight and Hedo or Big Baby + a few others to make it work.

To me that seems like a deal people can live with (if Bogut's injuries are not serious) IF Dwight is truly 100%.
