I truly believe this was the game to decide our fate.

We all know that Hammond is going to go for the win now approach. I expect a trade in the next few days. Nothing of any true significance. Nothing will help our FUTURE.

It is what it is. It's like a never-ending cycle of mediocrity.

Don't get me wrong, I love seeing the Bucks win. This is my team, and always will be. I've been a fan for life. But damn...I just don't know how we'll ever break through the 7-10 seed zone.

Without Tyson and Jeffries we will see Nowak-Amare frontcourt a lot. So the paint is wide open really.

After tonight it will be 6-14 in their last 20 with Melo :D

Nice win Bucks, can really see a win now trade coming from Hammond and a lot of people are going to be very unhappy. i really hope we get decent package for Bogut and get rid of Jackson, that being said don't really want to see Bogut go. I really don't know what I want out of this team at the moment. :(

I'm as pro-draft as anyone around here, but there isn't a single player outside of Davis that I think will be as good as Ersan is right now. The guy is a **** stud.

The playoff push is back on! With this group of gritty battlers, anything can happen. Especially considering all the games we've lost due to injury. Maybe we should get another veteran at the deadline to provide some leadership. It will probably only cost us a younger guy who doesn't play anyway.

At least most of the competition won, too. Cavs, Nets, and Pistons. Kings up 8 on the Mavs, almost halftime. If the Kings pull it out, Bucks are still only 2.5 games ahead of the Raptors.

Knicks still suck. Amare is one of the worst contracts ever. Dude plays defense like a 45 year old. Melo is a selfish ball-hog who doesn't do anything remotely well except volume scoring. Throw in Smith and Davis and they're not much better off than the Z-Bo/Marbury/Curry/Francis days, albeit with less off-the-court dysfunctionality.

Not only that but the Knicks have had the easiest Strength of Schedule in the NBA thus far, if the team isn't blown up will finish above them.

We've had a top 10 hardest SOS thus far, pretty much every team above us in standings have a much harder schedule left than us, in particular the Knicks, Cavs, Celtics, Pistons and Philly.

I agree, but I'm not sure if it will be like this next year.

I'm not ready to that far in terms of projecting him to next season. Right now, the guy is out of this world good.

paul wrote:Ersan.

Favorite part of the game was Amar'e walking, blatantly, getting called for it, and arguing about it for the next 5 minutes. That walk gets called in an under 10 girls game.

Bogut was very into the game on the bench with a heap of cheering and arm waving, not sure if it was because his heart is still with the team or because of his epic hate for Amar'e and Carmelo.

Seems like Amare can be a spaz sometimes. He was also upset after he was called for that elbow to Ersan before he tried to score and also pushed Gooden after NY missed on a bad possession. That was an important foul too because they had one to give with a minute and a half left and instead he angrily pushed Gooden when it was clear he wasn't going to get it.

Also, I didn't read the game thread but Ersan bailed out Brandon on one of the last possessions. I think the Bucks were up by 1 and Brandon was dribbling around the three point line and threw up a one handed scoop shot that didn't even hit the backboard. It was truly terrible, but again, luckily Ersan was right there.

Pretty much. Hopefully Hammond doesn't kill this team to bad at the deadline and we can start the rebuild after he gets fired.

If Bogut comes back how does that impact Ersan. I think it does greatly

Didn't we see this a few years ago with Salmons. We see how that turned out.
