Wroten has way more potential and is more suited for the NBA ..

Wroten has to put it together & has a long way to go b4 he does that, hes a dime a dozen in the NBA. Marshall is a legit NBA pg who can come in right away and run a team and do what the coach ask of him.

The potential factor is not big enough in wroten to say hes better den Marshall now or in the future.

Marshall is only in his 2nd yr isn't he??

If Calderon is defensive liability what do you think Marshall will be ???

Has Jose been a liabilty this yr? Marshall still projects better on the defensive end than Jose does. Hes still a better player than Wroten tho...

Jose will always be liability on the defensive end unless he plays on team like Magic with Howard or Miami .. Anyway this year just look at what Deron William did to us Jose guarding him and what he did when Bayless was guarding him ... Jose is good point guard running team, but he just sucks at the defensive and Jose allot quicker then marshall...

If Marshall works on his threes he could be a good fit for our offense and zone. He does tend to make big shots, if only those, not unlike a young J Kidd though I realize that's a dangerous comparison.

Closer to Mark Jackson or Andre Miller. His lack of athleticism is exaggerated and his on-court leadership, IQ, vision and passing are off the charts. Not saying he's a sure-shot all-star but I think he'll find a way to be effective in the NBA and could start and succeed in a good situation, ours being good.

I'm all for us taking a chance on either Marshall or Wroten, especially if we're making a run at Nash this summer.

Which one we take is going to depend on who best fits our system. Despite being able to see each in NCAA games, I think the real test will come during workouts.

Marshall is a system guy who became a team leader, basically forcing himself into the starting line-up last season. He reminds me a lot of Calderon, with a less reputable J, but a better ability to push the ball in transition.

Wroten is a guy with greater "potential", is more athletic, and probably has a better chance to be a star, but he comes with his issues too. He's a bit mercurial, and you have to hope he pans out.

Nash is the x factor here though. If we sign him, he'd do wonders mentoring either of them.

I would love Aaron craft as a back up point guard, guy is a lock down defender.

Absolutely, I've been saying it all year long about Aaron Craft as our 2nd rounder. The guy is all about toughness and D. :D

Watching the Marquette vs Murray St Darius Johnson-Odom is a guy I'd look at with our second round pick.

Agreed. Marshall's been stroking that three-ball with success during the ACC Tournament and now through first round of the NCAA Tournament. A good sign he's working on that three-point shot. Defenses are sagging him left and right, and he's been burning them. Might not have a deceptively explosive first step, but it's quick enough for him to blow-by his defender when they're running out at him. The lack of athleticism is definitely overblown.

I haven't seen a player like Marshall who's able to dart a 20-foot pass down the court whether that's a one handed chest pass or bounce pass with perfection. And how many PGs can make an entry pass with a bounce pass? That's crazy. Usually, it's a snap pass or direct pass going through the side of the on-ball defender's head.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

I like him too, I think he tops out as a more physical Mo Williams.

We're 6th worst team in the NBA atm, so we have 7.5% chance to win the lottery, but why "laughing out loud"?

Just spend 2 and a half minutes of your time watching this and tell me why Leonard shouldn't even be in the conversation for our pick. That is all.

Big games and Dion Waiters is proving his value. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Don't sleep on him.

Im getting truly annoyed at this draft class. Nobody looks good. Even my fav MKG is looking pretty bad the past couple of games. Beal is probably the only one showing up lately.

Royce White looks like a talent as well. The guy is a bigger James Johnson. His handles and passing ability are out of this world for a guy that big. The guy is like the Power Forward Vlade Divac.

Edit: Holy F**K! He's fast with the ball as well! :o

Haven't watched the whole game but can Royce knock down the 3? I'd take this guy over Terrence Jones.

Well, when you look at his FT%, which is around 60%, I'd say he's not a good shooter as of now. But, I'm not sure if there's anything wrong with his form, but then again, I haven't seen him shoot all that much.

On another note, is it just me, or does this guy look exactly like James Johnson in terms of appearance?
