About Peyton Siva,

So you can see a short PG with limited speed and lack of Athleticism (and limited length) and that can't shoot make it to the NBA

? You dont know what you're talking about. The only thing you were right about is his limited size. Hes not very big which is why he will fall to he second round. Hes my sleeper pick in this draft. Kind of like Isaiah Thomas in last years draft. The fact that you say he has a lack of athletism shows how much you dont know about him.

A former McDonald's All-American, Siva is very small for a NBA point guard at 5-11, but is an exceptional athlete to compensate. He's one of the fastest end to end players in college basketball, and shows a tremendous ability to change gears and just explode past defenders. A real crowd pleaser, he regularly finishes plays above the rim, sometimes in traffic even with a thunderous dunk.

Dear Lord.. I hope that Webster comparison isn't accurate. I'm pro HB but that is scary stuff.

Im leaning towards MKG,Beal and Lamb over Barnes. I think Barnes will be good but nothing more then a 18ppg type player in his prime unless he really improves his offensive moves. That being said if were drafting at 4 or after then you consider taking Barnes.

Not sure I agree with your wording. Ford said: "If he doesn't live up to his potential? Maybe he is the second coming of Martell Webster."

Sure, and what are floors for other guys who don't live up to their potential. I think the Deng/Granger comment is the one on which to base assessments, and where you would slot him if he isn't going to be an elite player.

I added "if he doesn't live up to his potential" -- didn't omit anything on purpose.

I would probably argue that which side of the Granger/Webster coin seems more meaningful depends on what opinion you already have of Barnes.

Regardless, Ford seems to believe MKG and Beal are now more coveted prospects than Barnes. Of course, everything can change once workouts start.

Are you kidding me, Gay more talented then Barnes coming out of college.. I understand Gay being more athletic, and longer, but he was nowhere near talented and more complete then Barnes coming out of College. Barnes right now is like Pierce/Granger coming out of College, except he is even better shooter then both of them.

What kind of athlete do you think Barnes tests out as? Im hoping he has good hops, speed and length. If he doesnt then forget about him.

Barnes falling could be good news for the Raptors. It seems like this team just won't be able to hit rock bottom and luck out with a top 3 pick so if we are in the 6-7 range, I think Barnes would probably turn out to be a bargain

I think Barnes still has to be our prime target in this draft, his struggles simply making it easier to draft him ourselves or trade for him on draft night. He's no Rudy Guy athletically but he's no Adam Morrison either. He's got great size, a great shot, great defensive potential, and a developing offensive game. He's not a point forward and he's not pure slasher/scorer, he's a big shooter. In the NBA he will be able to operate in the post, command attention moving without the ball, grab his share of rebounds, etc. He has a well-defined skill in his jump shot and you have to know that BC and Casey are looking for a shooter that can be an impact defensive player. With Wilson Chandler off the market, Colangelo's attention will very likely turn to Barnes, who is far from perfect but will be able to come in and be a key rotation player as a rookie. Nash and Barnes. I'd be quite surprised if those aren't the additions that Brian has foremost on his mind.

The big question is how much Charlotte and New Orleans and Washington also desire HB. MJ might be set on drafting his dominant frontcourt with one of the ADs but could could easily go for the sure(ish) marketing product and fellow tarheel. Washington could use him and he figures to be a solid fit with Wall but they could really go for any position not the 1 (Nene can play with 4/5s). Lastly, New Orleans will also want a marketable sure thing and will probably want a 3 over a two. It'll be interesting to see if HB slides past these 3.

LOL it's clear this guy just makes stuff up and passes them off as facts. Peyton Siva has a lack of athleticism now? Wow...

1. Bargnani .... what a waste of number one pick
2. Aldridge ... have gone #1
3. Adam Morrison ... If college stat ment anything this guy would be superstar
4. Tyrus Thomas .... One year College hype ... MKG,Thomas of this year
5. Sheldon William.... This guy went ahead of Gay tooo
6. Brandon Roy ... Healthy or not this is good pick and he should have gone #3
7.Randy Foy... Brad Beal of the draft
8. Rudy Gay .... what a steal at the #8 ... we should have traded down

Barnes is gone drop like Gay, but he will be 2 or 3 best players in the draft ...

1. Aldridge
2. Gay
3. Brandon Roy
4. Bargnani

Rondo nobody knew Rondo was gone be good as he is ..

Harrison Barnes is not even close to the level of Rudy Gay. The only knock on Rudy in college were similar to the knocks on PJIII. If you're going to draft someone and hope he turns out like Rudy Gay it's PJIII, not Harrison Barnes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Derozan has the same sort of buzz on here, as Barnes does right now? The fact that most mock drafts are pegging him to go around time the Raps select, makes me think that's BC's guy.

Good list... I think Sullinger at 10 is a steal though.

I was hoping we could've stolen him, but I agree. It's for the best.

I really like Beal from what I saw, he reminds me of Eric Gordon. Barnes has always reminded me of Marvin Willliams, although he's proven much more at the college level, I'm referring to skillset. I really haven't been impressed by most of the players in this draft outside of Anthony Davis. I'm sure all of us will get a better feel for everyone in the summer.

Explain to me how Bargnani was a waste of a number 1 pick? Of the players you listed, where would he be ranked? Outside of Gay (not counting players that didn't go in the lottery), it's not unreasonable to think Bargs would go 3rd at worst.

Zeller and Mcadoo are guys who spent the year without the criticism of being top prospects but have a bunch of glaring flaws that if they declared, would severely diminish their stock. PJ3 over Sully is a sick joke, especially after this weekend.

Sunny, you know better than that. Unreached potential wins out over actual production every time with NBA scouts. Sullinger will eat Jones' lunch if they ever went one on one, but it doesn't matter.
