Both are included in my rent right now. I'm going to have to find out what I would spend on utilities to be better informed. Generally a parking spot in Toronto goes for 130-200 per month.

This job scare is putting some things in perspective for me. I spend way too much on rent, so I think I'm going to relocate regardless of what is the final outcome.

I'd take parking because it's usually higher than utilities. We pay $85 for electric, H2O is included and internet+cable is $115 for an $800/month two bedroom. That electric is high too because we have a plasma tv and both my roommate and I have desktops that are on often. Our fridge may be from the late 80s and our heat is inefficient. Parking here is a couple hundred a month.

I don't think I would use more than 120 on utilities, I'm barely home but my brother plays nba 2k12 all night long, so I dunno... lmao.

I don't even have a car right now but one of the reasons I want to move out is so I can get one. Right now I rent my parking space out. But, it definitely seems that heated(Canadian winters) underground parking is better than utilities. Thanks for letting me bounce some ideas off y'all.
