It was in absolutely no accident

I agree. He touched Harden before he swung his arm. He must've noticed that someone was standing directly next to him.

Right. There's no reason stuff like this should be considered part of the game. As a player, you don't do this. If you can't stop yourself from doing it (and hence it keeps happening), then you aren't meant to play in this league.

If as a fan you WANT to see stuff like this, that's fine, but you're ridiculous if you think that that's something that people running the NBA are going for. They've worked very hard to get past the jungle ball days of the past, and part of the result is an NBA that makes many billions of dollars per year.

I wish the worst things on Ron, Metta whatever the **** he is...he's a piece of **** who just doesn't get it as an athlete. If you know you have a problem, get help. He hasn't shown a consistent effort to get help and his career has been infested with violence and problem making. He's an example for kids coming up as to what not to be. Him and Dennis Rodman. How can you feel sorry for these people? They are trash and scum.

Yeah Lakers get all the breaks, remember that time when the league forced New Orleans to trade Chris Paul to the Lakers.

Wow. We're not in MMA here. Dude risked serious head injury and you want a 1 game suspension? Come back to reality. 10 should be a min.

Anybody think it's funny that Ron's almost unanimously getting called Ron Artest after that. I've been calling him Ron all year, but most people have done the Metta thing. Now even the announcers were calling him Ron Artest.
Lakers fan since 99.

He should be out the rest of the playoffs. The guys is a complete thug, has no regard for anybody and has proved for years cannot control himself. The guy is a complete disgrace and I have no idea how someone can root or respect this guy.

yeah, it must suck that the lakers couldn't bend another team backwards in a lopsided trade. Oh well, I've seen worse. Like that time the lakers got Pau Gasol for kwame brown. Oh wait.

That clown deserves to be suspended for remaining season and at least a playoff series. That was unnecessarily brutal.
