Saw Cabin in the Woods and liked it. Gotta rate much better than movies that are 100% horror, had some real good scenes. I'd say 60% comedy 40% horror, i'm being generous on the horror dept too. Definitely worth watching in theatres though, then again, i'm always stoned there so maybe my movie reviews aren't worth reading.

I'd say yes since it has a good blend of comedy and horror. Just enough to give her a few scares but enough comedy to where she isn't looking at you as if you may kill her after the movie (imagine the dudes who took their dates to see the opening of The Exorcist

)

Disclaimer: I'm not a fan of horror movies and only went to see this because a friend I hadn't hung out with in a while was in town and wanted to see it so I caved in. I never take dates to see horror movies except for once, hence the rule.

I liked it. I'd say it's probably best if one doesn't know much about it before seeing it. I was good and in the dark about the premise.
