Love how Emery says he'll avoid those picks with injury concerns and then picks a guy with 3 concussions, and then later picks Mr. Ace Bandage in Brandon Hardin

Lamar Miller keeps falling. 7 backs taken ahead of him -- Richarson (CLE), Martin (TB), Wilson (NYG), Pead (STL), James (SF), Hillman (DEN), Pierce (BAL). What gives?

And there's your RB, kdwag. You'll be happy with Pierce, good football player.

Punishment for not having standout numbers, I'd imagine. Again, Miami was bad offensively in 2011.

Love Demario Davis, my favorite "boom" player in this draft. THought he would last to tomorrow to Detroit. The Jets got themselves a baller there.

Donald Stephenson is a good pick, he will be KC's 6th lineman/swing tackle.

I like Brandon Brooks but not to Houston. Not a scheme fit; Texans value guys that can move and Brooks is more of a smashmouth guy.

I believe Russell Wilson will be starting ahead of Matt Flynn in 2013.

Cards did well with Jamell Fleming, his 2011 tape said 2nd round.

and your thoughts on crawford?

also, idk how i didnt hear about Sanu's prank from yesterday, god that's a kick in the balls

Thanks PNF. I should admit, I'm much more familiar with the NBA than the NFL -- I'm making the transition. Typically, in the NBA, scouts will overlook numbers if the raw skills are there (for better or worse). Is that less the case in the NFL, or are there questions about how good Miller actually is?

Jeff, you must be happy with the Lions taking Bill Bentley.

That big-ass smile you see is me beaming over the Lions taking my guy Bill Bentley. Arguably best nickel/slot corner in this draft. He does not lack for confidence.

The NFL will overlook numbers a fair bit (see Dontari Poe) but physically other positions are heavily scrutinized. Miller has good but not elite speed, he's not known for blocking, and he didn't put up many yards. His draft stock is predicated on speed, agility, and IIRC decent hands.

Definitely looks like a typical Ravens grinder back to me on film.

Sean Spence -- what's the scouting report? I was really expecting Ta'amu or Brandon Thompson there.

Sean Spence to the Steelers is an awesome fit pick, if a little high for my tastes. Dude hits hard.

Maritimer: Dude is 5-10 in stocking feet but hits like a Mack truck and is football smart. Very Steelers player.

Sounds decent, but at that size how does he fit in a 3-4? Or is he going to be a special teams guy and a passing down LB?

Never heard of the guy the Browns drafted. I like Nick Foles but I don't see what purpose the Eagles have in selecting him.

Who the hell is this Hughes guy the Browns picked?

Its like they are trying to see how big of a reach they can make with each pick past Richardson in this draft.

He fits well enough because he's quick. He'll probably be asked to do special teams at the start but I bet he finds active roster time.
